Hello everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to reach out to those who may be living with social anxiety or who find social situations overwhelming. So many people struggle quietly with feeling isolated, disconnected, or uncomfortable in social settings, and often there is very little support available where they can feel truly understood.
I’m currently working with some individuals who feel they would really benefit from connecting with others who may be experiencing similar challenges. Sometimes, simply knowing that you are not alone can make a huge difference.
If you are struggling, or know someone who is, I would love to create a supportive, low-pressure space where people can connect at their own pace, without judgement or expectation. This would be a safe and understanding environment for anyone who may struggle socially, but would like the opportunity to build confidence, share experiences, or simply spend time around people who can relate.
I completely understand that larger groups can feel overwhelming, so rather than starting with anything too big, I was wondering whether there may just be a few people here who would be interested in a small, relaxed meet-up to begin with.
We could agree on a location that feels comfortable and suitable for everyone (such as a local park or seafront walk). There would never be any pressure to speak or participate beyond what feels comfortable - attending is a massive achievement.
Of course, anyone attending would also be more than welcome to bring someone along with them if that would help them feel more at ease. There is absolutely no pressure at all - the aim is simply to support people in making connections, building friendships, and finding others who can relate to how they feel.
If this sounds like something you, or someone you know, may be interested in, please feel free to send me a message on 07438425307.
