SOUND BATH FEEDBACK
“Brilliant experience. I want that every Friday night”
“Better than a normal bath 😂”
“ I had the best sleep ever”.
“I felt so light after, like a weight had lifted from me”.
Well, we had another amazing sound bath on Friday night with melissasoundandsoul
Some of you were asking what exactly happens at a sound bath.
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where soothing sounds and vibrations are used to help calm the mind and body. During a session, instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, and tuning forks create layers of sound that gently wash over you. Unlike a traditional music performance, a sound bath is less about listening and more about feeling the frequencies and allowing yourself to rest, reset, and simply be present.
Many people find that sound baths help reduce stress and quiet mental chatter. The vibrations and repetitive tones can encourage the nervous system to move from a heightened “fight or flight” state into a more restorative and balanced state. As the body relaxes, breathing often slows, muscles soften, and the mind becomes calmer. Some people describe feeling lighter, clearer, or emotionally released after a session.
Sound baths can also support mindfulness and meditation. The sounds give the mind something gentle to focus on, which can make it easier to let go of worries and stay in the present moment. For those who struggle to switch off during meditation, the immersive nature of sound can create a sense of ease and help bring about a meditative state naturally.
On a deeper level, many people use sound baths as part of their wellbeing or healing journey. The experience can create space for reflection, emotional processing, creativity, and inner connection. While a sound bath is not a medical treatment, it can be a powerful complementary practice for relaxation, self-care, and overall wellbeing.
