Absolutely BUZZING for Goodwood Revival in 2 weeks time 🏁😁

I will be there with my teacup candles, upcycled steamer trunk tables, and my new upholstered pouffes made from tyres that have reached the end of their useable life (and may otherwise have headed to burn in a third world country). There are other surprises too, so stay tuned to see some pics!

COMMISSION! This lovely customer asked me to make their footstool more in keeping with their new decor. As they are savvy about sustainability, they knew that there was no need to buy new as the innards were still in great condition.

After receiving a recommendation about me (yay!), they got in touch and we spoke about what they were after in terms of fabric, budget and time frame. Once all that was nailed down, I got to work!

Not only did this customer create a beautiful space personal to them, but they also saved money, supported a small local business and cut their carbon footprint. Win win win if you ask me!

😍 Look what my Dad made out of an old fence 😍

After one of the storms last year, my dad’s partner’s fence blew down. It had weathered many storms, but this one literally tipped it over the edge!

Like me, my Dad hates good things going to waste and set to work making me this beautiful cutting table for my workshop. He knew that I was wanting to get more tools and equipment for developing my upholstery skills, so this was an ideal solution for using up the wood from the fallen fence without it going on a bonfire!

As humans, we consume 73% more natural resources than the Earth can regenerate within 1 year. Not only is that a stark statistic, but reminds us that we need to be responsible with how we use and consume materials. With TLC, time, and excellent craftsmanship, this is the result 💯
