This week just keeps getting better and better, and we honestly couldn’t be more excited! 🥹🥹😭❤️

Amelia is officially OFF ALL FEEDS! 🎉🥳❤️

This means she now only needs her tube for water and medication — another huge step forward for our brave little girl. 🥹

The hope is that, over time, her oral water intake will continue to improve, and one day hopefully soon we’ll finally get to see that beautiful little face without her NG tube. 🤞🏻🤞🏻😭❤️ What a day that will be!

After everything Amelia has been through, seeing her reach milestones like this is incredibly special. We are so proud of our little warrior and so grateful for every bit of progress she makes. ❤️

And just look at her… happily heading off on the bus to nursery this morning like the absolute superstar she is! 🚌🥹❤️

We really couldn’t be more proud. 🌟

🥹💗 Amelia is FINALLY back at nursery! 💗🥹

After breaking her leg and having to spend some time away, our girl is finally back to walking and as you can tell by that beautiful smile, she is having the BEST time! 🥰

She’s settling in perfectly and it honestly makes our hearts so happy seeing her back at nursery, having fun, making friends and being her happy little self again. 🥹💕

Amelia Update 💜

We thought it was about time we shared a little update on our amazing girl.

The last few weeks have been so, so good. We’ve been making memories, enjoying family days out, and spending precious quality time together. Seeing Amelia happy, healthy, and full of life is something we’ll never take for granted.

This week we reached a huge milestone… Amelia started nursery! 🥹

She absolutely needs it, but I won’t pretend I’m not a nervous wreck! Thankfully, she’s attending the same nursery her three big brothers went to, so we know the staff really well, and they know our family too. That makes handing her over just that little bit easier, and we know she’s in the very best hands.

Of course… it wouldn’t be Amelia without a little bit of drama! 😳🤣

Maybe we’ve been having too much fun… 🤔

After a trampoline incident, Amelia had an X-ray yesterday which confirmed she’d broken her leg. 😭 She’s now sporting an over-the-knee cast for the next few weeks. Thankfully, despite it all, she’s still smiling and taking it all in her stride—as always, she’s far tougher than the rest of us!

Please keep our little princess in your thoughts as she heals (and maybe send a little prayer that she gives Mummy and Daddy a break from the surprises for a while! 😂💜).

We escaped reality a little this week and headed off on a caravan holiday ❤️
After everything life has thrown at us , it was so special to step away, make memories, and just enjoy being together. Our Amazing boys had an absolute ball, and seeing them carefree and happy meant the world to us.
And our beautiful Amelia? She has truly been living her best life 🥹 From smiles and adventures to soaking up every moment, she absolutely loved it. Seeing her happy, making memories and simply being a child is something we’ll never take for granted.

Amelia update 💛

We’ve had such a wonderful few weeks, just enjoying precious quality time together as a family.

Amelia is doing amazingly well. Today she had her PICC line removed—such a huge milestone for her! We’re now on reviews every two months, and it really feels like things can only keep improving from here.

Without the PICC line, she can finally enjoy simple things like baths and splashing around without worrying about getting her dressing wet. No more weekly dressing changes, and a little less fear of infection. It’s a small step in some ways, but for us it lifts a big weight of stress and worry.

She’s still on her feeds and water top-ups, but we’re hopeful that as she continues to improve, her intake will too. It would be so incredible to see her beautiful face without the NG tube one day.

She truly is amazing, and I’m so, so proud of her 🥹💛

Two years ago our fit and healthy baby girl suddenly became unwell and was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. In a moment, our whole world changed.

We hoped medication would help Amelia, but sadly it wasn’t enough. The only way she could survive was with a heart transplant. She had to be supported by a Berlin Heart while we waited and hoped for the call that could save her life.

Nearly a year ago, that call came. Amelia received the most incredible gift — a new heart — from a brave and selfless family who chose to say yes to organ donation during the most difficult time of their lives.

Because of that decision, our little girl is here today.

We were told she may have 15–20 years, but we hold onto hope that medicine continues to move forward and that Amelia will be given many more years to grow, laugh, and live her life.

Heart transplantation saves lives. Organ donation saves families. Our family is living proof of that.

Please take a moment to talk to your loved ones about organ donation. One decision can change — and save — so many lives.

Today we remember how far Amelia has come, and we will forever be grateful to the family who gave our daughter the gift of life. 💗
