Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience in nature at our 'Forest Bathing at Lauriston: Blossoms and New Beginnings' event on Saturday 11th April at 10am at Lauriston Castle Gardens.

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy an enriching moment of tranquillity.

Among blossoms and new leaves, we’ll slow our pace and enjoy the forest’s new growth as we journey through nature.

I can feel my heart slow down, my breaths deepening, within minutes.

It’s been an intense few weeks, but this morning I’m back home - in nature.

I’m prepping the first LongLeaf Forest Bathing session of the year at Lauriston Castle - planning the route, designing sensory activities that make the most of nature’s bounty at this moment - spring daffodils, the choir of robbins, the scent of honeysuckle.

And I am instantly reminded how much it heals me, to slow down and immerse myself in the beauty of nature.

So for those of you coming out of winter hibernation, even if the cool winds still blow, take a moment and step outdoors.

Be reminded of the miracles of spring - the new buds pushing their way through the ground, the trees beginning to unfurl their leaves, the dew on blades of grass.

New beginnings.
