One year ago, I took a leap of faith and opened my little space at Saxon Business Park in Littleport.
I knew I wanted to offer wellbeing support to children and young people, but I had no real idea what that would look like.
One year on, Blooming Youth is thriving.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting children and young people aged 4 to 17 through weekly one-to-one sessions. I’ve watched beautiful friendships blossom at our weekly youth club, delivered workshops on a wide range of topics, and seen young people grow in confidence and resilience.
Beyond my little space, I’ve run workshops for an Easter holiday camp, delivered weekly sessions in a local preschool, and this week marks the start of a 13-week project alongside the charity Living Better.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to meet me, visit my little space, and trust me with your precious young people.
My goal has always been to help children and young people access support early—to give them the tools and confidence they need before challenges begin to feel overwhelming.
Here’s to the first year of Blooming Youth, and to all that the next year will bring.
