Waiting in the car for my husband’s flight to land (I’m parked at a trading estate down the road from the airport to avoid the ridiculous carpark fees - can you believe it cost over £6 to literally drop him off, didn’t even stop the engine!!)

So pleased I always carry my Travel Notebook with me so I’ve got something to kill the time. Being quite slim it fits perfectly in the pocket in my bag and takes up next to no space. I thought I’d decorate the cover of one of the notebooks. My pen draws beautifully on the Kraft card cover.

I’ve been a bit quiet on here over the past few weeks as life became a bit hectic. I had a creative assignment for my MA module (which I loved doing and will post some photos so you can see what I’ve been up to). I’ve also just started a new job which, although still teaching, is different from what I’ve done before so has been a bit of a learning curve for me but I am loving it!

My youngest is just having his swimming lesson so I’ve found a spare few minutes for myself with my beautiful leather from it slips perfectly in my bag for tangling on the go.

There are temporary traffic lights on the way to pick up my youngest from school so I’m leaving early in case I get delayed. If I get through in good time it gives me time to have a few minutes to myself listening to the radio and having some creative time. I’ve started carrying my learnbookbinding travel notebook that I made last week in my bag.
