Making the most of the elderflower season.
This year we are making elderflower fizz, - also called elderflower champagne.
It’s super easy to make, all you need is freshly picked elderflower heads infused in water, sugar, lemon juice & zest and a small amount of apple cider vinegar. Leave it in a container for 24 hours, strain and bottle using sterilised bottles.
Leave for 2 weeks to ferment in a cool & dark place and you will have a delicious, sweet and slightly alcoholic summer drink with a hint of bubbles due to the fermentation process.
It will be just ready for the Summer Solstice celebrations to drink on a lovely summer evening.

I'm busy putting our Expressive Landscape Painting Weekend together.
Saturday 13th/Sunday 14th June, 10am-5pm, Townsend House, Minehead.

This workshop is suitable for those who are a bit stuck with their painting.
We all reach a point when we become frustrated by adding too much detail to our work and want to become more expressive.
This workshop has been designed to help you with a way to start that process.

Theory work, discussions and plenty of practical exercises to help prepare you to paint a large expressive painting of the landscapes that inspire you.
