AGE IS JUST A NUMBER… BUT SOMEHOW WE’VE MADE IT A DEADLINE. 🩷

At 20, one woman is travelling the world while another is becoming a mum.

At 30, one is building a career, another is changing direction completely.

At 40, one is deep in family life while another is finding herself again.

At 50, one is becoming a grandmother while another is falling in love, starting a business, changing career, travelling the world or discovering parts of herself she never knew existed.

At 60, 70 and beyond… women are still beginning again.

New love.
New adventures.
New careers.
New versions of themselves.

Same age. Different seasons.

And maybe that’s the point.

I look at my own life and realise I’ve been both women.

At times I’ve lived the more traditional path.

Marriage. Motherhood. Family. Career. Responsibility.

And at other times I’ve stepped completely outside of what I thought my life was supposed to look like.

I’ve started again.

Changed direction.

Fallen in love again.

Reinvented myself.

And I’m still doing it.

That’s what I love about being a woman.

We don’t have to be one version of ourselves for our whole lives.

We’ve been handed a timeline that was never really ours to follow.

By this age you should…

By that age you must…

Says who?

There is no universal timeline.

There is only your life.

20 isn’t too young.

30 isn’t a deadline.

40 isn’t too late.

50 isn’t the end.

60 isn’t too late to begin again.

70 isn’t too late for a new adventure.

You can be 25 and feel lost.

You can be 65 and feel like you’re only just getting started.

Because we don’t just change in years.

We change in layers.

Body. Mind. Heart.

Each decade can bring something different — knowledge, depth, softness, strength, confidence, freedom.

We are not becoming less.

We are becoming more.

So stop measuring your life against someone else’s.

You’re not behind.

She’s not ahead.

You’re simply in different chapters of completely different stories.

And whatever number is on your next birthday cake…

There is still time.

To begin again.
To love again.
To change your mind.
To reinvent yourself.
To become more you than you’ve ever been.

There was never one timeline.

There was never one way to be a woman.

BE HER. At every age. 🩷

How do you prioritise when everything feels important?

A relationship you want to nurture.❤️

A new business you’re pouring your heart into.💯

Hundreds of miles travelling to support a poorly parent.❤️

Friends you want to spend time with 🔆

And somewhere in amongst it all… yourself.🙈

What I’ve noticed is that the hardest part isn’t actually the juggling.

It’s the guilt.

The judgement.

The quiet voice that whispers…

“You should be doing more.”

“You should be with your mum.”

“You should be working on your business.”

“You should be giving your partner more of your time.”

“You should be looking after yourself better.”

No matter where I am, there are moments when I can feel guilty for not being somewhere else.

But recently I’ve realised something.

The guilt doesn’t come from my circumstances.

It comes from the story I’m innocently believing in that moment.

Because when my mind settles, nothing outside has changed.

My mum still needs support.

The business still needs building.

The miles still need driving.

The people I love still need my presence.

Yet everything feels different.

The judgement softens.

The guilt fades.

Clarity quietly returns.

I know what the next step is not because I’ve worked everything out, but because I’m no longer trying to carry every responsibility all at once.

Life has shown me that peace doesn’t arrive when the to-do list is finished.

It arrives in the moments when we stop arguing with where we are and give ourselves permission to be fully present with what is in front of us.

Maybe that’s what being truly present is.

Not living without responsibility.

Not pretending life isn’t hard.

But trusting that, in a quieter mind, we’ll naturally know what matters most next.

And perhaps, on the days we feel we’re falling short…

We could replace judgement with compassion.

Because we’re all doing the best we can with the thinking we’re experiencing in that moment.

This evening, there is nowhere else I need to be.

I’ll simply sit beside my mum, hold her hand as she drifts in and out of consciousness, and say very little.

Because I’ve realised that sometimes the greatest gift we can offer another human being isn’t our words.

It’s our presence.

Just being there.

Just being love.

❤️

Yesterday I sat in the centre of the Rollright Stone Circle.

I closed my eyes.

I stopped thinking.

I stopped trying to understand.

And something shifted.

I can’t explain it.

Whether it was the stillness…
The history…
The beauty of nature…
The collective intention of every soul who has stood there before me…
Or simply the moment I finally became fully present…

I don’t know.

What I do know is that I left different from how I arrived.

For a few precious moments, the endless chatter of my mind disappeared.

There was no past to replay.
No future to control.
No problems to solve.
No one to become.

Only this moment.

It reminded me that perhaps peace isn’t something we have to create.

Perhaps it has always been there…

Waiting beneath the noise.

So much of our lives are spent searching for answers somewhere outside ourselves.

Yet yesterday, sitting among stones that have witnessed over 5,000 years of human life, I wondered whether the greatest wisdom isn’t found in the stones at all…

It’s found in the silence they invite us into.

I didn’t leave with more answers.

I left with fewer questions.

And somehow, that felt like enough.

❤️

BEHER.

Not because a place changes who we are…

But because sometimes a place becomes quiet enough for us to remember who we’ve always been.

Love Has Many Faces… ❤️

This weekend filled my heart in a way that reminded me of something I never want to forget.

We often grow up believing that the greatest love story we’ll ever experience is the one where we meet “the one.”

And don’t get me wrong…

I feel incredibly grateful to have found Ty.

But one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is this…

Love has many faces.

Long before Ty came into my life, I created a tribe of incredible women who became my family.

Women who stood beside me through divorce.

Women who held me together after heartbreak.

Women who reminded me who I was when I’d forgotten.

Women who celebrated my successes, wiped away my tears, and laughed with me until my stomach hurt.

This weekend was another reminder of how precious those friendships are.

After a difficult week supporting my mum, spending time by the sea, walking, talking, laughing and simply being with a dear friend was exactly what my heart needed.

It wasn’t extravagant.

It wasn’t planned to perfection.

But it was full of love.

As women, we spend so much of our lives looking after everyone else.

Our children.

Our partners.

Our parents.

Our careers.

Sometimes we forget to nurture the friendships that quietly carry us through every season of life.

The older I get, the more I realise that some of the strongest women I know aren’t the ones who never struggle…

They’re the ones who have built a tribe that helps them rise again and again.

So today, I want to say thank you.

To every woman who has been there for me.

To every friend who has listened without judgement.

To every hug.

Every coffee.

Every walk.

Every belly laugh.

Every “I’m here if you need me.”

You have shaped my life more than you’ll ever know.

So if you’re lucky enough to have women like that in your life…

Tell them.

Message them.

Hug them.

Make the memories.

Because one day, you’ll realise that some of the greatest love stories you’ll ever experience weren’t romantic at all…

They were friendships.

With love,

Jayne ❤️

The Love of Your Life Doesn’t Complete Your Life… ❤️

Happy Friday, beautiful women.

The sun is shining here in Devon, and I hope you have something that makes your heart smile planned for this weekend.

I’m about to create some more magical memories with a gorgeous friend who’s travelling down to visit me. ❤️

As I was thinking about our weekend together, it reminded me of something I wish I’d understood years ago…

For so long, I believed that finding the right person would be the moment everything finally fell into place.

After my divorce, I dated for years.

Some dates made me laugh.
Some taught me valuable lessons.
Some reminded me exactly what I didn’t want.

There were moments when I genuinely wondered if love had simply passed me by.

But somewhere along the journey, something shifted.

Instead of focusing on finding someone else…

I started finding myself.

I began building a life that I genuinely loved.

I looked after my health.
I invested in my mindset.
I travelled.
I said yes to new experiences.

And perhaps most importantly…

I created a tribe of incredible women who became my family.

Women who lifted me up when I doubted myself.
Women who celebrated my wins.
Women who reminded me who I was whenever I’d forgotten.

One of those beautiful women is arriving shortly, and I can’t wait to spend the weekend making more memories together.

Because love isn’t only found in a partner.

It’s found in friendships.
In laughter.
In adventures.
In purpose.
In becoming the woman you were always meant to be.

Little by little, I stopped waiting for my life to begin.

I realised it was already happening.

And then…

Along came Ty.

Not because I’d finally become “perfect.”

Not because I’d ticked every box.

But because I was no longer looking for someone to rescue me or complete me.

I was simply looking for someone to share a life I already loved.

Looking back now, I realise something that has stayed with me ever since…

The love of your life often arrives when you fall in love with your life.

For me, that love started long before Ty.

It began with loving myself a little more.

It grew through incredible friendships.

It flourished through purpose, adventure and becoming comfortable in my own company.

Then one day, I met the man I believe I’ll spend the rest of my life with.

Whether love finds you next week, next year, or whether you’re already in a relationship, creating a life that lights you up is never wasted.

Because when you stop chasing happiness…

You become someone who radiates it.

And that’s a beautiful place to meet the people who are meant for you.

Have the most wonderful weekend, and don’t wait for the perfect moment to enjoy your life…

Your life is happening now.

With love,

Jayne ❤️

The days you need your habits the most… are the days you least feel like doing them.

This week has reminded me of something I never want to forget.

Life doesn’t stop because you’ve decided to work on yourself.

Right now I’m travelling between Devon and Grimsby, spending long days in hospital, navigating uncertainty, conversations with different departments, and the emotional weight that comes with watching someone you love become more fragile.

It would be so easy to press pause on everything else.

To skip the gym.
To forget the walk.
To eat whatever’s easiest.
To tell myself I’ll start again next week.

But I’ve learnt something over the years…

Our daily habits aren’t for the easy days.

They’re for the hard ones.

They’re the anchor that keeps us steady when life feels anything but.

Some days my physical reps are shorter than planned.

Some days my mental reps are simply five minutes of gratitude, a deep breath, reminding myself that I can’t always control what happens around me, but I can choose how I show up within it.

Every walk.
Every workout.
Every healthy meal.
Every moment of gratitude.
Every act of kindness towards yourself.

They all count.

Not because they make life perfect…

But because they make you stronger.

Being isn’t something we achieve once.

It’s something we practise every single day.

So wherever you are today, don’t aim for perfection.

Just keep showing up.

One rep at a time.

❤️ BEHER – because the woman you’re becoming is created by the small things you choose to do consistently, especially on the days life feels hardest.

The Most Important Conversation You’ll Ever Have… ❤️

There is one conversation that never stops.

From the moment you wake up…
Until the moment you fall asleep.

It’s the conversation you have with yourself.

Some days it whispers…

“You’re not good enough.”

“You should have done better.”

“You’re too old.”

“You’ll never find love again.”

“Everyone else has it figured out.”

And without even realising it, we start believing those thoughts as if they’re facts.

But let me ask you something…

If someone spoke to your daughter, your best friend, or someone you love the way you sometimes speak to yourself…

Would you let them?

Of course you wouldn’t.

So why do we accept it from ourselves?

I’ve spent years coaching people, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this…

The quality of our life is deeply influenced by the quality of the conversation happening inside our own minds.

The good news?

That voice isn’t who you are.

It’s simply a collection of old experiences, old fears, old beliefs and old stories that have followed you through life.

You don’t have to argue with it.

You don’t have to silence it.

You simply have to stop believing every word it says.

And when you do…

Something beautiful happens.

The critic begins to lose its power.

Compassion takes its place.

Confidence quietly returns.

And little by little…

You begin to remember the woman you were always meant to be.

So today, be curious.

Notice how you’re speaking to yourself.

Then ask yourself one simple question…

Would I say this to someone I love?

If the answer is no…

Perhaps today is the day to start speaking to yourself with the same kindness you’ve always given everyone else.

With love,

Jayne ❤️

Your Future Self Is Watching… ❤️

Today I’m sitting beside my beautiful mum in a rehabilitation unit.

At 93, life has slowed down. Conversations are different. Priorities are different. Time feels different.

As I’ve sat quietly beside her, I couldn’t help but wonder…

If my 80 year-old self could sit beside me today, what would she say?

Would she thank me for worrying so much?

Probably not.

Would she thank me for putting off my dreams until “the time was right”?

I doubt it.

But I think she would thank me for…

❤️ Loving more deeply.
❤️ Telling people I love them.
❤️ Looking after my health.
❤️ Taking the trip.
❤️ Starting the business.
❤️ Having the difficult conversation.
❤️ Choosing courage over comfort.
❤️ Laughing a little louder.
❤️ Being present instead of perfect.

It’s so easy to believe life is somewhere in the future.

The next promotion.
The next relationship.
The next holiday.
The next chapter.

But one day, you’ll wake up and realise…

These are the days your future self was hoping you wouldn’t waste.

So today, ask yourself one simple question:

What will my future self thank me for starting today?

And perhaps an even more important one…

What do I need to stop worrying about, so I can start truly living?

With love,

Jayne ❤️

What if the most important conversation you have each day is the one you have with yourself… just before you fall asleep? 🌙✨

We spend so much time focusing on what we do during the day that we often forget our mind is still working long after we've closed our eyes.

Lately, I've been listening to a guided sleep meditation before bed, and it's made me think...

If we can go to sleep replaying our worries, our fears and everything that went wrong...

What might happen if we went to sleep focusing on gratitude, possibility and the person we're becoming instead?

I'm not talking about pretending life is perfect.

I'm talking about choosing where we place our attention.

Because the quality of our thoughts influences the quality of our emotions, and the quality of our emotions influences how we show up the next day.

Imagine ending each day by letting go of what no longer serves you...

Forgiving yourself.

Quietening the mental noise.

Creating space for hope instead of fear.

Whether you meditate, pray, journal or simply take five minutes to breathe before sleep, perhaps the real transformation begins in those quiet moments when the world finally goes still.

Tonight, don't just go to sleep.

Go to sleep becoming.

🤍

BEHER. Because every day begins with the thoughts you carry into the night.
