✨️Meet Leanne ✨️ – Director, Creative Enabling Limited

Leanne is the Director of Creative Enabling Limited and brings 14 years of dedicated experience within the care sector. Since founding Creative Enabling in 2023, Leanne has been driven by a clear mission: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both the individuals supported by the service and the staff who work within it.

With a strong passion for supporting people with mental health needs, ADHD, and autism, Leanne is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. She holds both Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care, strengthening her expertise and guiding her leadership approach.

Leanne firmly believes that “you are only as good as your team,” a philosophy reflected in the supportive, empowering culture she has built within the organisation. She takes pride in the fantastic team around her, led confidently and compassionately by managers Andy and Julie.

Outside of work, Leanne loves spending quality time with her family. She enjoys travelling and making memories with her three sons, and she is a proud grandmother who cherishes every moment with her beautiful granddaughter.

🤘 BIG NEWS! NHS BLOOD DONATION are teaming up with global rock legends Metallica and their charity All Within My Hands Foundation to help save lives this summer.

🤘 BIG NEWS! We're teaming up with global rock legends Metallica and their charity All Within My Hands Foundation to help save lives this summer.

UK blood services in England, Scotland and Wales are joining forces with Metallica to get music fans rolling up their sleeves. Metal runs through every Metallica fan's veins, and so does blood that could save up to three lives with every donation.

Metallica are calling on their fans to become regular blood donors around their UK tour dates. They're in London on 3 and 5 July.

Metallica have already seen the life-saving difference this campaign can make in the US and Australia - now it's the UK's turn.

We'll be sharing more information soon, so watch this space! 🤘🩸

✨♥️ We rush to comfort someone with a broken leg, but we distance ourselves from someone with a broken spirit. ✍️🌹

We take time off for fever,
but tell people with depression to “just snap out of it.”

We bring food to the sick,
but avoid those battling anxiety because we don’t know what to say.

The truth is—mental illness is not different from physical illness.
Both cause pain.
Both require care.
Both deserve compassion.

You wouldn’t tell someone with asthma to “just breathe.”
So don’t tell someone with depression to “just be happy.”
You wouldn’t blame a diabetic for needing insulin.
So don’t blame someone for needing therapy or medication.

Healing the mind is as important as healing the body.
Until we treat both with equal care,
many will continue to suffer in silence—not because they are weak,
but because the world made them ashamed of their pain.

Let’s break that silence.
Let’s make compassion our first response—not judgment.

💜 Because mental illness is real.
💙 And every kind of pain deserves to be understood.

What is World Blood Cancer Day?

We celebrate World Blood Cancer Day on 28 May to mark the founding of DKMS, an international charity dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. Lymphoma is the most common type of blood cancer in the UK, with someone being diagnosed with lymphoma every 26 minutes.
