A message received this afternoon from a client's mum. Very happy to have been able to help this young lady;
"X has been much better since we last spoke to you. Her asthma is now well under control, her iron tablets are working, she is much less phlegmy, and her energy levels are better/fluctuating normally depending on sleep quality.

Despite being in the middle of her A-levels, she has not had a relapse into her allergy type symptoms and is managing her stress levels really well.

Over and above all of this, She is now aware of the effects of what she eats/drinks on her asthma and even on her anxiety levels (she has just spotted that she feels anxious if she drinks coke) which I think puts her in a really good position before she heads off to university, hopefully later this year.

I am so grateful for your advice, and I know X is too. A-levels would have been really hard if she had still been feeling so rubbish."

Jay is a client of many years ago, now friend, who initially came to see me with digestive symptoms, chronic fatigue, food reactivity and poor mood/brain fog.

I am so unbelievably delighted that he is now well enough to be training for an Olympic Marathon in aid of Marie Currie and I'd love to help support him and his achievement by sharing the link to his just giving page, so if anyone feels that they can support him and the fantastic charity that is Marie Currie, please do;

https://www.justgiving.com/page/jay-fox-1?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL

He reports that ''Trainings going well, i’m on track to finish at least. Tummy has never been more steady and regular. Worlds away from where it was when I saw you those years ago! A long journey, of which I am deeply grateful to you!''

Help Jay Fox raise money to support Marie Curie

A very kind review that I recieved today:
My wife suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome (ME) for more Than 20 years. Usually it comes with a few weeks of extreme fatigue, joint and muscle pain and brain fog, then lifts again, but is never far away.

Then disaster struck, following a lovely day out in London, it was back again. That was 18 months from this time of writing. Unfortunately, this time the fatigue did not leave after a few weeks. Over the next few weeks and months the energy got less. A visit to the GP was met with “ at your age what do you expect “. Things got worse. We purchased a wheel chair because she could not even walk around a shop . As we were getting reconciled to a lifetime of wheelchair and rollater, we met my wife’s sister in law who mentioned how much Jacqui had helped her.

Our first visit to Jacqui filled my wife with hope and the confidence that she will recover.
Jacqui is exceptionally professional, caring and extremely knowledgeable. My wife took all the tests Jacqui recommended and followed her advice . Nothing dodgy, just good professional sound advice based on science and a deep understanding of how the body works.
From wheelchair to comfortably being able to walk 2.5miles, she is enjoying improved energy levels; probably better than at any time in the past 20 years.

If you suffer ME, or general health issues , speak to Jacqui .

So many people are either using or considering using GLP-1 medication for weight loss, but this is not a long term solution, particularly as we are now beginning to understand the negative effects that this has on bone density, gut motility, digestion etc. Supporting your body's own production of GLP-1 is easier that you would think.

Did you know GLP-1 is a hormone your body makes naturally? 🧬

GLP-1 is released in the gut after you eat. It helps regulate appetite, blood sugar, and how quickly food leaves the stomach.

Meals rich in protein and fiber tend to increase satiety hormones like GLP-1. Walking after meals helps the body handle glucose more efficiently. Regular exercise, good sleep, and limiting ultra-processed foods all support the metabolic pathways that regulate hunger and blood sugar.

These habits are part of the biological foundation that helps your metabolism work the way it was designed to. Which one will you try first?
