Happy, happy 19th birthday Tropic!

Susie's story~~~~
19 years ago today, over the summer school holidays, I travelled for over an hour with 50 home made body scrubs packed in jam jars to Greenwich Market. I queued for a stall, set up my stand, and proudly displayed my freshly made body scrubs with a logo I'd designed in Microsoft paint, and labels I'd printed out at school and Pritt sticked on.
I was 15 years old, nervous, excited, terrified - I started trading at 8:30am. It took me over 2 hours of standing behind my stall to pluck up the courage to ask a passerby to try my body scrub - who said 'no. And then another hour to ask the second passerby - who said 'no'. I remember taking deep breath, reminding myself why I was there - to help my mum pay off our overdue water bill - and I need to sell 10 scrubs minimum. I held up my demo scrub, inhaled the lemon myrtle essential oils, put on a big brave smile and asked the next person... who said 'yes!' I did demonstrations all day, hustling my home made scrubs and when the day ended at 6pm, I'd sold out! More than enough to pay that water bill!
And the rest is history! This photo was taken a year or two later when I'd upgraded my labels, and the other photo was when Carlton, Ryan and I used to make the body scrubs together about 10 years ago in our first factory.
