Beautiful opportunities to three different sound immersions this week.

✨Tomorrow will be back in St Paul's for our October sound bath - a lay down full immersion in a more intimate space.

✨On Friday at 7pm we will finally return to St Nicholas, Newington for Gather. 800 year old church on the edge of Folkestone, guarded by an over 2000 year Yew tree..

Limited spaces to lay down but planty of seating available.

For our first time in Ashford we are creating a new sound jopurney at Revelation/St Mary's church.

This Friday will be at The Quarter House in Folkestone part of a new audio-visual collective called Noema.

NOEMA is an immersive, improvised audiovisual journey featuring: André Verissimo (gongs, shruti box, monochord, singing bowls and percussion), Paul Cheneour (flutes), Matt Dear (electronics and guitar), Scott Wyllie (electronics and double bass) and Sophie Wyllie (audio-reactive visuals).

Live show at Quarterhouse, Folkestone, 25th September, 8pm(doors 7.30pm).

Welcome to Gather
Our yearly Autumn candlelit, deep listening sound bath at the beautiful 12th century church of St Nicholas.

This will be our second time at St Nicholas, continuing our exploration of sound in ancient sites of contemplation and community gathering for our times.

We are interested in how sound played in these sites can change our experience of wonder and awe.
We welcome people of different beliefs and backgrounds, and invite you to explore the mysteries of life hidden in the quiet corners of the spaces that make our history.

The sound bath will last an hour and will included various instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, monochord, voice and looping.

You don’t need any experience in meditation or any other practice to join. Come as you are.

To bring:
Depending on the weather, it can be cold inside the church so make sure to bring enough clothing. Limited space to lay down is available, so if you wish to lay down please bring a mat, pillow and blanket. Otherwise there’s plenty of seating space

Price:
We offer a sliding scale of ÂŁ5 to ÂŁ20. Please pay according to your financial circumstances.

Mid week sound bath immersions as we welcome the Autumn. In a time of constant speeding and flash lights, is easy to forget the seasons continue to drive ours and the Earth's rhythms. As we slowly make our way into the darker days, and enjoy the beautiful colours, let us take some moments to wonder.

Join us for our first morning sound bath immersion at Kollectiv Folkestone.
Link in bio

This will be an opportunity to experience a sound bath as well as learn more about this creative practice and try some of the instruments yourself (adults and children alike).

We will be playing gongs, bowls, monochord and voice looping.

Please bring a mat, blanket and pillow if you would like to lay down.

Children are welcome to attend and must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. If you have very small children and not sure is suitable please get in touch directly via DM or [email protected]
