Skin treatments do not need to be invasive.
We can achieve dramatic transformations with topical skin treatments.
Just look.at these results!!!

Obagi Nu-Derm helps to transform your skin from the inside out with prescription 4% hydroquinone specially formulated for normal to dry skin. Skin aging is a natural process, but daily sun exposure can contribute to premature aging. Sun-damaged skin appears dull, with older, damaged cells accumulating due to slower skin cell turnover. The Obagi Nu-Derm System helps transform the skin’s appearance by reducing darks spots, revealing younger, healthier-looking skin.

Complete skin care system specially formulated for normal to dry skin to help correct hyperpigmentation, such as dark spots and melasma, and transform the appearance of aging skin.

Obagi Nu-Derm is ideal if you have:

Age spots

Rough skin

Sallowness (yellowish complexion)

Hyperpigmentation (discoloration)

Prescription required

Vascular Occlusion
This complication of dermal fillers causes death of the skin and potentially permanent scarring and disfigurement if left untreated.
This is why you must always choose your aestheticism wisely.
-Always choose a medical professional with knowledge of anatomy, the ability to recognise a Vascular Occlusion and treat it accordingly. Do your research.
-Cheapest is never the best and cost of treatment should reflect the training and expertise of your clinician.

Tranquility Aesthetics is proud to offer CLINICCARE skincare products.

Low molecular hyaluronic acid is one of the basic components of CLINICCARE skincare. Hyaluronic acid plays a vital role in metabolic processes such as cell interaction and synthesis. It helps protect cell immunity and helps preventing infections. One of its most important properties is its ability to retain moisture – up to 1000 times the weight of the acid itself. Natural repair of skin cells is directly dependent on levels of hyaluronic acid, which, unfortunately, decline as you age. This leaves skin more susceptible to toxins and all processes that require hyaluronic acid deteriorate. That's why it’s so important for anti-ageing formulas to include hyaluronic acid.

The problem with absorbing conventional hyaluronic acid is that its molecules are 3000 nanometers in diameter whereas intercellular space is only around 100 nanometers. This makes it impossible for conventional hyaluronic acid molecules to pe*****te to deeper levels of the skin. Until now it has only been possible with direct injection of hyaluronic acid. However, Japanese scientists have managed to develop low molecular hyaluronic acid with molecules only 5 nanometers wide with high ionization levels as well, which means it can reach deep into the skin without the need for injection.

CLINICCARE is a high technology cosmeceutical with immediate and visible effects. Globally patented complexes of hyaluronic acid are many thousand times smaller than ordinary molecules and can pe*****te deep into the skin to hydrate and rejuvenate from within. Special formulas provide outstanding results due to unique combination of very effective active ingredients.

CLINICCARE skincare products are intended for professional use and are only available in medical clinics, beauty salons and spas.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is mainly found in the connective tissues and fluids of the body, with the highest concentrations in the skin. Some dietary sources of both animal and plant origin are also rich in hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid has numerous functions in the body including increasing the moisture content of the skin, protecting the skin against environmental factors, and promoting healing. The substance can be isolated from its sources through chemical processes to obtain hyaluronic acid for commercial use. In cosmetics, hyaluronic acid is used in the manufacture of several skin care products in its pure form or as a salt derivative of sodium hyaluronate. The products exist in different formulations including injections, creams, gels, powders, and supplements, and are effective in increasing skin moisture, and diminishing fine lines and wrinkles.

Scientific studies have shown that Hyaluronic Acid helps improve skin hydration and production of collagen, fight free radicals, maintain skin elasticity, and even has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help with wound healing.

We do not yet have legislation in the UK to prevent non-medical professionals from delivering injectable cosmetic treatments. But, this does not mean the government or the medical community find it acceptable for non-medical professionals to perform toxin and filler injections.
Botox and other branded muscle-freezing toxins such as Vistabel (the UK brand name for Botox), Azzulure and Bocouture are classed as prescription-only medicine.
Prescribing professionals are now required to have a face-to-face consultation with the patient before treatment can begin. The practise known as ‘remote prescribing’ is not acceptable and is illegal.

Injectable treatments may be ‘non-surgical’, but they involve a medical procedure and are not just a beauty treatment. Dermal filler injections are not superficial skin treatments, they are needle injections that pe*****te the skin to a depth that increases the risk of complications.

Doctors, dentists, and nurses learn how to safely administer dermal injections as part of their medical training. Though Beauty Therapy NVQs may include some information on anatomy and skin structure, you do not have practical lessons in medical procedures and how to handle complications. Medical professionals are taught how to use needles and cannulas safely, they are also taught about how to deal with problems that may arise from allergic reactions, infection, or an error by the injector.

Would you feel completely comfortable having a tooth extracted by a beauty therapist who had learned that one procedure and had observed dentists performing it, but had no other medical training? Or would you prefer a qualified dentist to do it? It’s not about doctors thinking they are more superior and skilled than therapists, it’s simply about what each has been trained to do, and the risk they could pose to a patient. It’s not illegal for beauty therapists to perform filler injections, it’s just not a good idea in terms of patient safety

Insurance policies cover you for legal fees and damages, but reputable cosmetic insurers will only provide cover for medical professionals such as doctors, nurses and dentists to administer toxin and filler injections.

Profhilo vs Dermal filler

Profhilo is made from hyaluronic acid (HA), however, it varies widely from traditional HA dermal fillers like REVOLAX and other market-leading brands. The biggest difference is that Profhilo is not a cross-linked filler. No BDDE has been used as a crosslinking agent to stabilise the product and make it last longer within the body. Instead, Profhilo is thermally stabilised which fuses the molecules together and creates a unique complex consisting of HA. This special manufacturing process makes the product more suitable for larger areas.

Profhilo does not add a noticeable amount of volume to the face but instead spreads out under the skin like an injectable moisturiser. Deep skin treatments delivered traditionally with five injections on either side of the face.

Collagen and elastin production are stimulated, which tightens the complexion and stores water under the skin. This results in smoother and glowing skin. Main areas of the face may experience a little lift from the injections after the filler has spread out evenly under the skin.

Another difference to traditional dermal fillers is the downtime. Clients may experience up to two days of downtime after a Profhilo treatment due to the nature of the product. After being injected the filler stays in a small bump under the skin and will spread out and disappear within hours.

The main difference between Profhilo and HA dermal fillers like REVOLAX is the area of treatment. Regular dermal fillers are used to enhance a specific area of the face or treat one small part. Profhilo can be seen as an injectable skincare product which will help the skin glow, smooth out little imperfections and provide overall hydrated, healthy skin.

Both, Profhilo and HA dermal fillers, have their areas of application and purposes. While HA dermal fillers add volume and change the shape of facial features, Profhilo spreads out to plump up a larger area slightly and treat the skin from within. Depending on the clients requirements, both Profhilo and dermal fillers offer great results.
