You’re not failing at life.
You’re trying to function from a fried nervous system.
And then blaming yourself when you can't.
We’ve normalised:
waking up and going straight onto our phones, running on pressure and urgency, never actually being conscious during tasks
…and then expecting ourselves to be able to focus, follow through, and stay happy
Make it make sense 😬
You wouldn’t skip water all day and expect your body to perform.
So why are you not regulating your body, and expecting your mind to deal with it?
Nervous system regulation (aka "chilling tf out") isn’t a “nice to have”
It’s your baseline.
Something you return to throughout the day.
Not just when you’re already overwhelmed!
Start here instead:
Before you push, spiral, then give up...
1. Pause.
2. Regulate.
3. THEN do what you were about to do.
This is the difference between treading water every day... and actually being able to human without burnout, mental health dips, constant coughs and colds, etc
[Save this for the days you just feel "off" (because that’s when you’ll forget, but need it most)]
