The Soulful Sessions are an opportunity to unwind and relax, tune into yourself and the season we are in. The perfect way to start the weekend.

This candlelit class is an hour of mindful movement followed by half an hour of yoga nidra relaxation. The next session is on Friday 5th June in Upton.

Free community yoga classes at Gorleston library are back on Tuesday next week (10th March).

The class is beginner-friendly and designed to support people living with a range of health conditions including (but not limited to) stress, anxiety, chronic pain, fatigue or anyone who would benefit from a slower, more supportive approach to movement and wellbeing.

Sessions focus on gentle movement, breathing practices and mindfulness, with both chair and mat options available. There is no expectation to be flexible, fit or experienced - you are encouraged to move at your own pace and work within what feels comfortable for you.

I’m really pleased to be launching a new Community Yoga for Health & Wellbeing class in Gorleston. This will be at Gorleston Library, upstairs in their private rooms, on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month, 10:30-11:30am.

This class brings together the previous Yoga for Wellbeing and Yoga for Chronic Pain & Fatigue groups into one regular session, allowing me to offer more consistent support while continuing the same gentle, therapeutic approach.

The class is beginner-friendly and designed to support people living with a range of health conditions including (but not limited to) stress, anxiety, chronic pain, fatigue or anyone who would benefit from a slower, more supportive approach to movement and wellbeing.

Return to Balance - A yoga workshop for understanding and supporting your nervous system

If you’ve been feeling out of balance, stressed, overwhelmed, or unable to fully switch off, understanding your nervous system could help.

This morning workshop offers an accessible introduction to how your nervous system influences stress, relaxation, and emotional balance — and how yoga can help bring things back into balance.

Through a mix of gentle yoga, breathwork, relaxation, and informal learning, you’ll learn practical skills you can use in daily life to feel calmer, steadier, and more resilient.

No prior knowledge or yoga experience is needed. Everything is explained in a clear, easy to understand way, with plenty of time to experience the practices rather than just talk about them.

Join me this Friday for the next Soulful Session. An evening of candlelit yoga to slow down and pause. This month’s theme is ‘a winter rest’ — taking permission to pause, and ease into the new year rather than rush ahead.

Expect slow, gentle movement, some restorative shapes, and plenty of space to breathe and unwind.

Suitable for beginners and anyone needing a calm, nourishing reset. No experience needed — just come as you are.

Introducing Mel , Mel has joined Health Through Yoga CIC over the past few months and is helping us to expand our reach into Suffolk. She is a wonderful teacher and therapist and I am so glad to have her on board...

Hi, I'm Mel ,

After a few years away, I moved back to the Suffolk coast in early 2025 and am thrilled to team up with Georgina and Health through Yoga, enabling us to share the joy of our work across 2 counties .

Yoga has been a part of my life for over a decade - I'm a yoga teacher and yoga therapist.

In my day to day - I hold one to one sessions in my therapy space at home, and I teach accessible chair yoga in my community. I'm involved with different funded projects,most recently offering yoga for those living with Dementia.

I'm a passionate advocate for finding new and innovative ways to adapt, honour and blend the powerful ancient wisdom and practices of Yoga with modern science, finding small ways in which everyone no matter what can live and feel well.

A bit about me -

I'm a Mum to a Teenager.

I've spent the last decade making friends with myself, my body, and my own physical limitations. Scoliosis & hypermobility have been my greatest teachers fuelling my passion for finding accessible movement.

Things I love- cooking, cats, kitchen disco's, floristry, chocolate, spontaneous adventures, and I never say no to a good Coffee ☕️

You'll often find me -
out walking,pottering in my garden, or at the beach swimming or scouring the shoreline for the best weathered shells, sea glass, and stones.

The last few years have taught me - Pace yourself well, don't take life too seriously and never take your best friends for granted, making time for the ones we love, laugh and cry with is so important ♥️
