We’re excited to announce that our Summer Fair will take place on Saturday 15th August from 1pm – 4pm! Family, friends, and community members are invited to join us for a lovely summer afternoon filled with:
✨ Stalls
🎯 Games
🍔 Delicious food
🎁 Raffle prizes

We would love to welcome stall holders and have lots of stalls available! To secure your place, we ask for:
⭐ A £10 donation to our Residents’ Fund
⭐ A donated raffle prize
⭐ You keep all your takings

We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be opening a new coffee shop space for our residents at St Margaret’s Care Home and we need your help to give it the perfect name!🥳

We’re running a free competition and inviting you to send us your best coffee shop name ideas. Our residents will choose their favourite, and the winner will receive the contents of this fantastic hamper! 🍫🍪

We had a lovely Friday last week here at St Margaret’s Care Home! In the morning we had a brilliant visit from Yellow Wellies Nursery 💛! The children showed off their wonderful colouring skills and the residents had a lovely time chatting and spending time with them. It was lovely to have a happy and fun intergenerational morning! We are excited to welcome them again later this Summer, to sing their graduation songs to celebrate the end of their time at nursery. 🧡

In the afternoon, residents had a relaxing and creative time choosing, preparing, and pressing flowers to make some lovely summer cards and decorations! We are excited to see what they come up with once the flowers are ready! 🌼🌷🌺

Our Weekly Coffee Mornings have been a big success here at St Margaret’s Care Home! 🧡

Residents, friends, and families have enjoyed a wide variety of cakes prepared by our excellent chefs. This week we also played a true or false quiz on topics from space to WWII.🚀🌍

Please come and join us next Wednesday at 10:30am! All residents, friends, family, and the community are warmly invited to join. 🍰☕️

We had a lovely time celebrating VE Day last week!🇬🇧

Our home was decorated with Union Jacks and we enjoyed decorating cakes in red, white and blue. It was very interesting hearing residents share memories from WWII including about being evacuated, using Anderson Shelters and building coastal bonfires to celebrate VE Day. ❤️🤍💙

We also were thrilled to welcome the amazing Betty Boo who brought joy and happiness to the day with 1940s music! Everyone enjoyed finishing the day singing along to We’ll Meet Again by Vera Lynn.🧡

We had a busy and exciting week here at St Margaret’s last week! ☀️🧡

On Monday we enjoyed an amazing St George’s Day themed performance from the brilliant Chris Gilly. 🎶🎤

We also enjoyed our weekly coffee morning on Wednesday, giving everyone the opportunity to chat and catch up with friends and family. ☕️🧁

Throughout the week residents enjoyed everything from playing games of dominoes, to seated exercises, and rounds of Bingo with chocolate prizes. 🎾🍫

Please come and join us tomorrow morning at 10:30am for our weekly coffee morning. All residents, friends, and family are welcome - hot and cold drinks as well as a beautiful selection of cakes will be available! 🧡

We had a lovely time last week and enjoyed the beautiful cakes prepared by our chefs. All residents, families, and friends are welcome!🧡

We had a lovely Easter here at St Margaret’s Care Home! 🐣🌷

Thank you to everyone who donated prizes and took part in our Easter Raffle. We raised over £180 for our residents fund! There are still a few prizes which have not been collected, so please come and check if you bought a ticket! 🧡
