Standing under one of the greatest feats of engineering in the world this morning.

The Forth Bridge.

Built in 1890. Still standing. Still connecting people across the Firth of Forth more than 130 years later.

Scotland has always been brilliant at building things that connect us.

The railway. The telephone. The television.

We are a nation of people who look at a problem and think, what if we built something?

I spent this morning in Fife doing interim leadership work with a brilliant organisation.

And standing here I got to thinking about what I’m building.

Open Tabs Network is my bridge.

A global community for neurodivergent leaders - anyone who thinks differently from the system around us - and have spent too long feeling like they’re on the wrong side of the water.

No way across. No way to find their people.

We are not the problem. We are the solution.

And we’re building something that connects us.

The Open Tabs Podcast launches on 1 June. Episode one is my origin story. Fifteen years leading charities with undiagnosed ADHD, the chaos, the crashes, the moments of absolute brilliance, and why I eventually built the community I always needed.

But first I need your help.

Open Tabs Network is open to anyone who identifies as neurodivergent because their mind works differently, and anyone who identifies as a leader, or potential leader.

In developing our marketing I think this is my favourite asset we’ve created. So much so I’ve had it printed on a t-shirt for my days exhibiting at the National Neurodiversity Shows in Wigan, Coventry and Glasgow this summer.

If you’re coming to any of the shows, please say hi. I’ll be the one in the bright green t-shirt. 😄
