Here are some ways:
> Weekly walking date with a friend
> Local classes
> Solo or group outdoor/indoor challenges
> Strength routine
Choosing just one can be enough, and doing it with a coach, or support group to help you stay motivated during this time of year, can make it easier.
This morning, I had the pleasure of teaching Animal Flow. Last night, on leisure attendance duties, I helped someone update their programme.
Their goal was to make it more engaging. We walked around the gym, selecting complementary exercises and increasing effort level in sets.
Towards the end of our session, she explained that she is inspired by her son, who participates in HYROX, and that one day she would like the experience of participating with him.
I thought that was pretty cool and very inspiring, can you guess the age of the person I was working with?
