A sneaky snapshot of me at work.

Not everything needs an announcement.

Some of the work is more silent.

Moving through patterns, letting the body breathe, holding space for recovery in ways that don’t always make it to a post.

Rest like this is part of the practice too.

that's all I needed, thanks to Lynsey for being a great partner, ram for all the reps to connect us and fit body farm for being an excellent host.

Exercise is supposed to be fun, it's great for physical and mental health, this event was a challenge and something I enjoyed leaning into.

This was my first ever hyrox simulation event, it was affordable and a fun challenge.

Your challenge might be a walk, hike, bike, rehab routine or trying one small thing that feels good.

A story of impact and inspiration towards the end of this post.

How do you stay fit?

Here are some ways:

> Weekly walking date with a friend
> Local classes
> Solo or group outdoor/indoor challenges
> Strength routine

Choosing just one can be enough, and doing it with a coach, or support group to help you stay motivated during this time of year, can make it easier.

This morning, I had the pleasure of teaching Animal Flow. Last night, on leisure attendance duties, I helped someone update their programme.

Their goal was to make it more engaging. We walked around the gym, selecting complementary exercises and increasing effort level in sets.

Towards the end of our session, she explained that she is inspired by her son, who participates in HYROX, and that one day she would like the experience of participating with him.

I thought that was pretty cool and very inspiring, can you guess the age of the person I was working with?
