💙 Bowel screening could save your life.

Have you received your FIT (Faecal Immunochemical Test) kit through the post and aren't quite sure what to do next?

Watch our own Dr Brandwood from Glossop PCN as she talks you through the simple steps of completing your FIT test at home.

The test is quick, easy, and can help detect signs of bowel cancer before symptoms develop.

If you're aged 50-74 and receive a bowel screening kit, please don't put it aside - take a few minutes to complete it and return it.

📢 Have Your Say on the Future of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

The Timms Review is looking to hear from disabled people and those living with long-term health conditions about their experiences of the current PIP system.

Your views matter and can help shape how disability benefits work in the future. The review is exploring important questions, including:

✅ What PIP should be for
✅ People's experiences of applying and assessments
✅ How decisions are made
✅ How the system can better reflect modern life and health conditions

More than 38,000 people have already shared their views, and there is still an opportunity for communities and organisations to contribute through local workshops.

If you receive PIP, care for someone who does, or live with a long-term health condition or disability, this is your chance to help influence future improvements.

💙 Every experience and every voice counts.

It’s day three of Carers Week 2026. A carer is anyone including children and adults who looks after a family member, partner or friend who couldn’t cope without their support. Many carers don’t see themselves as carers. They’re just doing what anyone would do to care for someone they love. If you think you might be a carer, visit https://ow.ly/yNXH50Z6xvp for help, advice and support.
