In 2019 I was interviewed by about my ovarian cancer diagnosis and I have been mentioned in today’s online story about ovarian cancer and BRCA mutations as has recently been diagnosed with stage 1 ovarian cancer. More awareness is needed about ovarian cancer and the BRCA gene and I do hope that will use her public status to highlight the symptoms and available testing for BRCA through social media platforms. Too many women like myself and Chris are diagnosed by chance.

Sometimes it’s difficult to see the good in the bad but positive views make life a lot easier. Yesterday I was told My cancer is stage 4 and that the maintenance drug should prolong a reoccurrence for a couple of years but that’s not certain. I’ve chosen to see the good in this:
1. I currently have no reoccurrence
2. I am receiving the best treatment
3. I am being evacuated regularly
4. I am still alive!

The list is endless, you just have to decide whether you want the list to be positive or negative. My list will always be positive, I have hope ❤️
