“Yoga is not just an exercise. It is a process and system through which human beings can find their highest possible potential.”

There are a lot of misconceptions about yoga.

That you need to be flexible. That it’s another form of exercise. That being spiritual means stepping away from everyday life.

For me, the beauty of it is that you don’t need to change your whole life to begin. You simply need to start - and allow the practice to show you what it can do.

If you’ve been curious about yoga but haven’t known where to begin, I’m offering a free online introduction.

Comment or DM ‘START’ and I’ll send you the joining details. 🤍

“Yoga is not just an exercise. It is a process and system through which human beings can find their highest possible potential.” -Sadhguru

There are a lot of misconceptions about yoga.

You need to be flexible, that it’s another form of exercise, that being spiritual means stepping away from all responsibility.

But yoga is none of that.

Ultimately it’s something to be experienced, not just understood.

For me, the beauty of it is you don’t need to change your whole life to begin- you simply need to start - and allow the practises to show you what they can do.

If you’ve been curious about yoga and haven’t known where to begin, DM or comment the word ‘start.’ I’m offering a free intro session to help with just that.

Yoga means union. For me, my practice has slowly made the idea that we are not separate from the world around us feel less like a philosophy and more like something I can experience. And with that comes both immense beauty but also a deep sense of responsibility.

Events like this are devastating reminders of just how powerful and fragile our relationship with nature is. We may not be able to attribute every tragedy to one cause or one action, but we can become far more conscious of the way we live and the impact our collective choices have on this planet.

And maybe a little more of that understanding is what will help us take actions - not with seeing the environment as something outside of us that needs saving, but as something that is fundamentally a part of ourselves?

Let this also serve as a gentle reminder that this moment is truly all we have. Let’s not take this life for granted.

Offering all those with loved ones lost to the Nepal flash floods my deepest thoughts and prayers. 🌸💔

“There is no such thing as good habits and bad habits - all habits are bad, because a habit means you are learning to conduct your life unconsciously.” - Sadhguru

We often associate routine with boredom and novelty with excitement and that’s probably because the former feels forced.

I don’t practise every day because I’m forcing myself to stick to a routine. I practise because I’ve experienced what life feels like with it.

When something consistently enhances the way you experience your life, repetition stops feeling mundane but rather something that requires your protection…

So you might find me on a mountain, in a hotel room, at the airport or on a train doing my practise. It’s not because I’ve forced myself to stick to it - but because in the moment it’s what is needed. And for that I am grateful 🙏

Some things are easier to understand when you experience them for yourself.

The spaces we practise in. The people we practise alongside. The time and attention we give to going inward.

These were some of the most powerful parts of my own experience in India - and a big part of why I wanted to create this journey.

In February 2027, I’ll be taking a small group of women through Rishikesh and the Isha Yoga Centre to practise, deepen our sadhana and experience these spaces together.

**Journey to India with me. 🇮🇳🤍**

12 spots only. 6 spots left.

Three years ago, I boarded a flight to India with no idea where it would lead to.

I wasn’t looking for a new career. I wasn’t planning to teach yoga. And I certainly wasn’t imagining that one day I’d be bringing other women back to the very place that transformed my own life.

But that’s the beautiful thing about choosing growth over certainty.
You don’t always know where the path is leading. You simply keep taking the next step.
Hosting my first women’s retreat to India in February 2027 feels like a full-circle moment.
Not because I have all the answers.
But because I get to share a place, a practice and an experience that genuinely changed the way I live.

If you’ve ever felt curious about experiencing India through a yogic lens - not as a holiday, but as an opportunity to step away from everyday life and reconnect with yourself - I would love to have you there.

Sometimes the greatest journeys inward begin with a single flight.

Yesterday was Guru Purnima. 🙏

It also marked three years since I began one of the most intensive and transformative journeys of my life - my Classical Hatha Yoga teacher training.

What began as a 6 month journey actually carried lessons way beyond which I did not foresee at the time.

What’s been most remarkable is that the deeper my sadhana becomes, the deeper these teachings seem to reveal themselves.

These are seven quotes I find myself returning to, again and again as told by my guru. Not because they’re inspiring, but because they’ve genuinely shaped the way I think, practise and live.

On this Guru Purnima, we give our deepest gratitude to our gurus, our teachers, and to all those who has illuminated the path before us. Without them, this growth would not have been possible.

Happy Guru Purnima. ♥️🌸
