Menopause gifted me rage, OCD, being insanely hot at night like baby Jack-Jack in The Incredibles 🔥, a couple of extra stone… and a whole load of other symptoms. 🤦🏻‍♀️ ⁣

So I get it. I know how hard it can feel.⁣

That’s why I care so much about helping women stop being so hard on themselves, stop feeling like they’re failing, and start focusing on what actually works to support their health long term. 🥰 ⁣

These are 5 easy things I did this week to boost my fibre. They might not look like much on their own, but across the day (and over the week), they start to add up.⁣

Also… can we just take a moment for lentils 😅⁣

I’ve never eaten them before (yes, I’m a fussy nutritionist 😁). I added some to a shepherd’s pie this week and genuinely couldn’t taste them. Absolute game changer. No one else in the family noticed either - unless they see this post now, obviously!⁣

Most people are only getting around 18g fibre a day, so small changes like this can make a real difference over time and help move you towards the recommended 30g per day target.⁣

Research shows that higher fibre intakes are linked to a lower risk of coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes and colorectal cancer.⁣

Start with one or two simple changes and build from there - that’s where it starts to stick.⁣

Creatine isn’t just for the gym.⁣

It’s one of the most researched supplements out there, yet many women still overlook it — especially as we get older.⁣

As oestrogen levels decline, we naturally lose muscle, strength and energy. That can show up as feeling weaker, more fatigued, or even struggling with things that used to feel easy.⁣

This is where creatine can play a helpful role.⁣
It’s been shown to support strength, exercise performance and recovery, and there’s growing evidence it may also support brain health — including memory, focus and even mood.⁣

When paired with strength training, it may also help support muscle and bone health over time.⁣

It isn’t a magic pill (or powder). It’s about understanding the tools that can support your body as it changes.⁣

Thank you February. A bit more sun would have been nice but we’ll take the good times!!⁣

✈️ Booked our first proper holiday abroad for 10yrs (I haven’t flown for nearly 15yrs 😱)⁣

📖 Finished my book (aiming for at least one a month)⁣

🎵 with - Our 10th year of seeing them and first of many music events this year⁣

🦀 Dinner out with my brother 🥰 ⁣

🌊 Walks on the seafront⁣

🖋️ New tattoo - dandelion to represent letting go but keeping the memories - the paw print is actually Milo’s / the E is my Dads actual handwriting 🥰 / seagull for Scott’s mum / feather for my Uncle and Dad and remembering people with happiness⁣

🐦 Robin added to previous tattoo. Reminds me of my Nana, Milo and others lost (with a smile)⁣
