Over the past year more than 72,000 people have visited our website. Many have accessed our self-help films and audios and have told us what a great support they are.

To continue to be here for anyone affected by breast cancer in the most cost effective way, our website is being updated.
In the next few days, as we make changes, you may notice that our website is down but it won’t be for long.

How does our clothing change as our lives and bodies transition through breast reconstruction surgery?

Recollective Threads is a PhD design research project, at London College of Fashion, exploring the stories attached to the things that we wear. By building awareness of patient experience the project is developing creative approaches to designing breast cancer services.

We are looking for people to take part in the study by…
1. Completing a creative activity pack at home.
2. Attending a 1.5hr focus group (online) to offer feedback on the activity pack.
3. Attending a 2hr creative workshop at London College of Fashion (*covid dependent)
- to collectively discuss the design of future breast cancer services. *This workshop will only take place when there is a low risk of Covid-19 Infection or when UK government guidance allows for workshop participants to meet safely in a space, following social distancing measures.

*All activities will take place between Sept 2021 and Feb 2022.
*Travel and postal costs will be reimbursed by the study researcher.
*Sessions will be supported by a Cancer Support Specialist.
