Whilst I would prefer it was different and I still had my good boy Max with me, I do love being a small dog person. They seem to pack so much joy into their small bodies. We know Max is never far away and he’s always in our hearts, especially when we walk in our favourite fields on summer evenings 💜

Ozzie is living his best life. He has bagged and air-conditioning unit for his lounge to keep cool this summer! Im sure it helped him be extra chilled for his nail clipping at today too.

Beautiful Lola joined the home nail clipping gang recently. Being in her senior years, it’s so important to help her mobility as much as possible and by keeping her nails trim we are minimising slips and falls. She was immaculately behaved considering I was a new person in her life. What a lovely girl ❤️

Sol is improving so much every single week 🐾✨

Yesterday we practiced settling in a coffee shop environment, and he absolutely smashed it. Calmly relaxing despite people moving around him, conversations, noises, and all the distractions that come with busy public spaces ☕️Thank you to for the warm welcome and drink for Sol. If we want well behaved dogs in public spaces then we need welcoming spaces to practice in. We appreciate you!

Afterwards, we spent some time outdoors simply watching the world go by. These quieter moments are just as important — learning patience, self-control, and how to regulate emotions in exciting environments.

For an adolescent working breed dog, this is a huge achievement. These dogs are bred to think, move, react, and stay busy, so learning how to switch off and settle is a skill that takes time, consistency, and trust.

He’s doing brilliantly, and I’m so proud of how far he’s come 💛

A little story about ‘Bird’.

Around four weeks ago, my lovely client Grace found a tiny pigeon chick in need of help. At just 8 days old and only 90g, she was incredibly vulnerable — so I offered to help - what can I do when I hear these things? 🤣

Fast forward to now… she’s growing stronger every day, and starting to show her independence. I’m so proud of her!

She needed a bit of extra support in those early days — the right nutrition, some medication, and consistent care — and I’m so grateful she found her way to me at the right time. She helped me too, as she made me focus and brought nature right into my hands, brought me home at a time of loss..we found each other in a way.. It’s been such a privilege to help her get back on track and give her the chance to thrive. She has been a gift on so many levels 🐦 🩵

Thank you to my clients, who have been so understanding while I’ve adjusted appointment times to pop home for feeds. Your patience has meant the world and made this journey possible 💛

I’m hopeful that over the next few weeks she’ll be fully independent… and ready to continue her journey as nature intended.
