A dear friend and inspiration of mine posted this a few days ago. It reminds me of a remarkable girl at Just So festival, who has Celebral Palsy, whom I had the privilege of giving a Weleda hand massage. At the start of the massage her arms and hands were so tight and tense and restless, all locked at the elbows, but I gently applied the oil which made her smile. Her eye contact with me directed me further into the most special gift of hand massage I ever gave. Reading this article I now see that because of my growing belief in her she was able to relax and just be. I still see her in front of me at the end of the massage, with both arms and hands stretched out calmly and relaxed on the pillow on her lap.
