This feels surreal to post. 🤍 On the left - the logo that started everything. The one I looked at every day while I was finding my feet, building my confidence, figuring out who I was in this space.

🤍 On the right - me. Fully, finally me. Reflect Renew isn't just a new name. It's the clearest expression of everything I believe this work should feel like.

Calm. Purposeful. Safe. Transformative.

Nobody warns you that the energy spent trying NOT to feel unsettled during a transition is often more draining than the transition itself.

When something in your life shifts, a new role, a new home, a new relationship dynamic, even a new season...your nervous system fires up. It scans for threat. It wants to know: is this safe?

And if you spend all your energy arguing with that response ("I shouldn't feel like this," "I should be grateful," "everyone else seems fine"), you're essentially fighting yourself.

What if instead, you got curious?

What if the discomfort was data, not a sign that something's wrong, but a sign that something is genuinely shifting?

In hypnotherapy, one of the most powerful shifts we make is from resistance to curiosity. Not bypassing the hard feelings. Not forcing positivity. Just… stopping the fight long enough to listen.

Change is hard. But the story you tell yourself about being unable to handle it? That's optional.

This isn't dramatic. This is what negative automatic thoughts actually do.
One critical email → "My boss thinks I'm useless" → "I always get it wrong" → "Why do I even try."

Fifteen minutes. One email. Complete collapse.

NATs don't travel alone, they recruit. Each thought pulls in the next, and your brain starts filtering reality to confirm the story it's already telling. Psychologists call this cognitive distortion. Your brain thinks it's protecting you.

It's actually trapping you.

The woman in this story is a real client.
After six sessions of hypnotherapy, the same type of email landed in her inbox. Her first thought? "Okay, let me see what they need."

Same trigger. Completely different mind. 💛

NATs are learnable, and unlearnable. Save this if it hit home.

"Just think positive." 🙄 If that worked, you wouldn't still be here.

NATs fire before you're even conscious of them. By the time you try to flip the thought, the emotion has already hit. You're already behind.
Then the spiral kicks in.
Anxious → ashamed for feeling anxious → now you're anxious about being anxious. One thought. Three emotions. All in seconds.
Most approaches only tackle the thoughts you can catch. But NATs live deeper — in the subconscious, wired in from old experiences and old beliefs.
Hypnotherapy goes there. It doesn't argue with the thoughts. It dissolves the root they grew from.

You don't need to think more positively.

You need the thoughts to change at the source.
