Rosie enjoying some well deserved time off from her therapy work!

Rosie has absolutely loved her little holiday away from therapy work. 🐾☀️

From exploring beautiful old city walls and soaking up the sunshine, to running wild on the beach and paddling in the sea, she’s made the most of every moment. She even enjoyed a lovely day trip to Bruges! 🇧🇪

Safe to say she’s had the best time, happy, sandy, soggy, and completely spoiled.

I had such an amazing final training block in play therapy ✨

I explored the power of puppets, creative visualisations, and sand work, all such gentle and expressive ways to support children in processing their inner worlds.

Our group supervision was wonderfully relaxed too, using Kapla bricks for reflection and connection. So much creativity, curiosity, and learning packed into these sessions 💛

Now I’m signing off for a well deserved break with Rosie 🐾 Enjoy your bank holiday everyone!

This book I’ve been reading, Creative Visualization with Children by Jennifer Day, is very good. It’s practical, gentle, and full of ideas for working therapeutically with children.

I’m excited to explore how creative visualisation can be used within play therapy to help children feel safe, empowered, and heard. 💫
