I’m a bit late this year in wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas but nothing this year has been normal!

Thank you for all so much for your understanding and support whilst I’ve had to juggle appointments since the first lockdown and especially in the last 6 weeks due to childcare. I know I say it every year but I do have the best patients, and I really do love visiting you all.

Have as much fun as you can, stay safe, and I’ll see you all next year!

Happy Christmas and wishing you and your families a happy and healthy 2021.

Much love Claire 😘

***Tier 3 update***

Hello all, hope you’re all doing ok.

I’m still allowed to work during Tier 3 and will, as always, be wearing my PPE. I will continue to call/text to check you are feeling well, not waiting for a test result to come back or knowingly come into contact with someone who has tested positive.
I continue to ask that you wear a mask during the time I’m in your home. (unless exempt)

Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding whilst Dolly has been off school meaning I’ve had to juggle your appointment time, I really appreciate it.

Lastly, if you’re stuck for supplies or just want a chat give me a call and I’ll help wherever I can.

See you soon! X

Good evening all, just a quick update on the latest lockdown announcement.

The initial guidelines are that I am allowed to continue treating patients in their homes wearing my PPE and following the same strict hygiene/disenfection procedures I have always used. I will require everyone to wear a face mask without exception unless you are medically exempt.

Please tell me if you are feeling poorly when I call you to confirm the appointment or if there is any risk you may have been exposed to COVID-19.

You will need to confirm that you are happy for me to pass your information on to track and trace should it be required.

If you’re worried about me attending and would rather wait until you feel safer about the whole situation, please don’t worry, it’s totally understandable and I will just book you in when you feel happier seeing me.

Stay safe x

**TIER TWO UPDATE**

Good evening all, after seeking advice from my governing body, at the moment, I am still allowed to continue working within your home as I have been since June wearing PPE. I ask that all patients continue to wear masks and give consent for your details to be passed on to track and trace should the need arise.
If you’re concerned about me attending and want to cancel please let me know and we can reschedule when you feel happier for me to attend.

As always, if you can’t get out and need supplies, prescriptions etc please let me know and I’ll do my best to help.

Take care and stay safe x

Thank you Sharon. Lovely meeting you both today.

Hello all, from the 8th June I will be starting to book more routine appointments in my diary. In all cases, I’m asking that if at all possible that I treat you in the garden as this reduces any risk even further. I will be in my required PPE at all times and will be asking patients to wear a face covering during the appointment. I am able to supply face masks for £1 if you do it have one. All patients will still be required to complete a COVID 19 questionnaire which will require a signature on arrival. As you can imagine as we are starting to come out of this awful time I will have a back log of patients but will do my best to get to you as quickly and safely as possible. If you’re still adhering to the 12 week isolation and would like an appointment after this time please let me know and I’ll get you booked in. So looking forward to seeing you again. X

COVID 19 UPDATE

I have today been advised by my Professional Body/insurers that I am able to attend patients who have urgent issues with their feet. These are feet of the higher risk patient ie. Diabetics or those that if their feet are unattended could end in a breakdown of tissues or pain that could cause patients to stumble/trip due to being unable to walk correctly resulting in a possible trip to hospital or similar.

I will be asking patients to be treated in their garden wherever possible and I will be providing patients with a surgical mask of which £1 will be added to your appointment fee (I hope this is ok)
I will be wearing waterproof gown, mask, visor and gloves. Hands will be cleaned throughly before I enter and when I leave your home/garden. I will be working with a greatly reduced kit to minimise time spent in your home.

I understand that many of you are so desperate for your feet to be treated but I ask you to please answer the questions on the telephone questionnaire prior to attending as fully as possible which will help us keep as safe as possible.

I will reply to messages and phone calls as quickly as possible.

Thank you and look forward to seeing you.

Morning all, I truly hope you’re all doing well and trying to make the best of the lockdown. I have so enjoyed chatting and texting with many of you helping reassure each other through this very challenging time. Tomorrow marks the start six weeks since I took the decision to stop seeing patients to help keep everyone as safe as possible whilst adhering to government guidelines as well as my governing body and insurance.
When I am able to return to work, which I am hoping, along with so many, we will be given some idea next week. I will be adhering strictly to the guidelines set out by my governing body with regards to procedures and extra PPE I am required to take.
I will be rebooking patients in as close to when your next appointment and level of foot care priority (high risk patients) but if you feel that you need to be seen ASAP please let me know. I have sent and delivered creams, paddings and files to patients, if you need anything to help keep your feet as pain free as possible drop me a text, DM or call me and I’ll do my best to get it to you.
I’m so looking forward to seeing all of my wonderful patients and in time meeting new ones too.
Stay safe all. X
