👶🔍 We had lots of fun with our Guess the Baby activity! From famous faces and members of the Hampden team to some adorable animals, we had to guess who was hiding behind each baby photo. There were plenty of surprises and we were amazed at how much some people have changed… while others look just the same! 😂📸

🧶 A little kindness goes a long way! ❤️

Our Knit & Natter Club has been busy knitting scarves and snoods for the Harrogate Homeless Project and we were delighted to hand them over to their team.

A big thank you to our residents and team for putting their time and care into this lovely project. We hope these handmade items bring a little extra warmth to those who need it!

Christmas preparations have officially begun at Hampden! 🎄 Our residents got busy baking Christmas cakes under Debbie’s expert guidance and with her helping hand.
The smell of freshly baked cakes made the whole home feel festive! 🤤

💃 Strictly gossip at Hampden! Our residents got together to chat about the latest show, the contestants and the judges. Shirley's backflips and the worm had us asking… was that really Shirley or a stunt double?! 😂 🪩

💚 World Mental Health Day

Just a little reminder today that it’s okay not to be okay.

We all have days when things feel a bit too much, even if we don’t always show it. Sometimes a simple “How are you really doing?” can mean more than we realise.

So today, check in with the people you care about. Send that message. Make that phone call. Have the conversation. And don’t forget to check in with yourself too.

You don’t have to have everything figured out and you definitely don’t have to go through difficult times on your own.

Let’s be a little kinder, a little more understanding and make it easier for people to talk about how they’re really feeling. ❤️

Look after yourself. Look out for each other. You never know when a little kindness might be exactly what someone needs.
