May was an insanely busy month for EARLEY+DAUGHTERS….. our Hornsea sales were through the roof and I ended up having to take all vintage candles off the website just so I could keep up with stock levels at my events 🤯

As of this morning, everything we currently have available is back on sale online, but I had back in stock requests for pretty much every single variety so I don’t expect them to be around for long!

I’ll be pouring more today but I’m going to have to rethink how I sell these as I’m struggling to keep people happy - and I’m also struggling to keep up with demand! Lots of people don’t realise that these are original pieces of vintage pottery, all sourced by me. I’m spending more time searching for them and am finding fewer and fewer, and those I do pick up are costing me a lot more than they used to!

If any of you have any suggestions of ways to keep both online and in person customers happy, I’d love to hear them. In the meantime, those you that have been waiting for the Hornsea (and Tremar!) to return should have received a back in stock email this morning. Happy shopping 🤍

Would you believe me if I told you I’ve already started pouring Christmas candles this month?! Because I have!

My events traditionally slow down over the summer so that I can get started with the festive prep - so in June you’ll find me on my regular pitches only while I’m busy making my workshop smell like mulled wine and peppermint!

Incredibly excited to be joining at for the first time this weekend 🤍 You’ll find me on Goose Green from 10:00AM - 4:00PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, armed with plenty of Hornsea and Tremar pottery candles and our full range of fragrances in recycled amber glass.

Looking for a lovely day out? Come along and shop with a curated selection of 50 independent makers and artists, visit a wonderful Arts & Crafts property with William Morris interiors, and explore its beautiful hillside gardens (please note that standard National Trust admission fees apply).

Got a photo with the lesser spotted youngest Earley daughter today so had to share it 😁🌼🧡

Back home now after a brilliant Haslemere Charter Fair… it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces and to have so many returning customers. Repeat custom really is the biggest compliment a small business can get, I’m feeling super chuffed this evening - thank you!! Also made up by the fact our best seller was ‘verdant’, both today and on Saturday. I LOVE that you guys love it as much as I do!

Our next event is on Saturday. I’m in the same spot I was last year, very conveniently opposite The Cricketers 🍺 Hope to see lots of you there! In the meantime I’m going to crack open a jubel, cook some burgers, and I’m aiming to be in bed with my new book by 9:00PM 👵🏼

Back home after a brill day in Richmond with my lovely family. It’s not known as ‘the friendliest market in London’ for nothing… Amazing customers, amazing stallholders and the added bonus of amazing sunshine today!

Now it’s time for this old gal to catch some ZZZZZZZZZZs… tour of the workshop incoming tomorrow! So relieved to have finally moved back in after four months of utter chaos making candles in my kitchen!
