As the summer comes to an end and the smell of autumn is in the air, we would like to share and celebrate a Practically Wild August!
Thank you to each and every person who has been a part of that… it’s been such a sunny one, in so many ways ☀️ ☀️ ☀️
We made lotions and potions using foraged ingredients, got the tarp up and the fire area sorted on the task day, braved the rain during our family session, learned to use hand tools safely with young people and their caregivers and whittled in the woods in the evening as the moon was rising 🌙
And don’t just take our word for it…
“Sitting in the woods with likeminded women… a perfect evening as the sun went down.”
“First time whittling! The time flew by! The experience was very safety conscious but respectful of autonomy at the same time.”
“Peace, friendship, nature.”
“Such a lovely evening, enjoyed every minute, great to be with forest-loving people.”
“A lovely afternoon with the boy at Practically Wild’s parent and teen session whittling and axing.”
“Relaxing, engaging, informative… a really enjoyable day.”
“I’ll remember how lots of the ‘weeds’ I walk past are actually really useful!”
We’re excited to say that we’ve set some dates for the autumn term, which we’ll be publishing shortly 😁
