For older adults, including those living with dementia, visual cues can provide helpful reminders and reduce the need for verbal prompting.

Help me spread the word about Montessori for Later Life.

I’m looking to connect with more care homes, families and organisations across Pembrokeshire who may be interested in the work I offer.

I provide meaningful, person-centred Montessori sessions for older adults, including people living with dementia, both in care homes and on a 1:1 basis.

I’m really enjoying building this service and meeting so many wonderful people along the way. 💚

A little look at today’s 1:1 Montessori session 🤍

The Trinomial Cube is a challenging activity and certainly isn’t suitable for everyone.

This is something we have gradually built up towards, working on the skills needed along the way.

Today, seeing the activity come together and that sense of achievement was really special. It’s a lovely reminder that with the right support, patience and encouragement, we can help individuals work towards things they may not have thought they could achieve.

When I started Montessori for Later Life, I wanted to bring meaningful and purposeful activities into care settings, creating opportunities for residents to engage, connect and, most importantly, enjoy themselves.
