What another lovely WOMBLE we had today Be Kind The Vegan Coffee Caravan collecting litter around South Quay and Isis Gardens.

What a beautiful ✨Wonder of Wombles✨ we had here again today! 🥰 So much rubbish collected from just this small area around South Quay.

Health and wellbeing support in Penzance 💜

The Health for Homeless team is holding a special mental health and wellbeing day for people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.

📅 Thursday 27 August 2026
⏰ 10am–3pm
📍 John Daniel Centre, Penzance

People can drop in for a range of free support, including health screening, psychology and mental health support, women’s health advice, foot care and Healthy Cornwall.

There will also be yoga and breathwork, arts and crafts, a hairdressing service, refreshments and lunch provided by the Street Food Project.

Please share with anyone who may benefit or with organisations supporting people across Penwith 💜

Services available on the day may be subject to change.

When? Wednesday 6.15pm twice a month

How far? Two distances per run, either shorter 3km ish or 5km ish…

🚶Wednesday 19th 3pm, meet at Paddys Mill Wellness Centre. Wednesday walking and connection.

🏃‍♀️Wednesday 19th 6.15pm, meet at Paddys Mill Wellness centre. Womens running group.

💪 Thursday 20th 10am, Hayle recreation ground. Move Well in the park, circuit training.

🚮 Friday 21st 12pm, Be Kind The Vegan Coffee Caravan WOMBLE Litter pick.

All equipment supplied. Just turn up ready to move and have fun along the way.
