- There’s a whole year between this photo and where I was 12 months ago. Outwardly I look different — but the biggest shift is what’s happening inside. A year ago I was still navigating hard days, overwhelming emotions, and learning how to take care of my mental health. Today? I’m still learning, but I’m stronger, more grounded, and way more gentle with myself. Healing isn’t linear, but it does change you — inside and out. This is my journey, all of it 🤍

- People notice how different I look from a year ago, but what they don’t see is all the work behind it: managing my symptoms, setting boundaries, unlearning old habits, and prioritising my whole self — mind, body, and soul. Health isn’t just how you appear; it’s how you live, how you cope, and how you love yourself. I’m proud of how far I’ve come ✨

👋 Hi everyone, I’m Rhea 🩷

I wanted to introduce myself properly & explain a little bit about who I am, what Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is, and the role I play here, especially in the evenings 🕰️💫

🧠 First — What is DID?
DID is a trauma condition where the mind/self splits into different parts/identities to cope with things too big or painful to handle all at once. We all share this one body, but we have our own names, personalities, feelings, likes/dislikes, roles and ways of being. We are all different parts that make up the whole, working together to keep us safe, alive and moving through life 💛



🌸 A little bit about ME — Rhea:
✨ My Role: I am a PROTECTOR & MUMMA BEAR 🐻🩷
I am the one who guides, nurtures, teaches and holds everything together. My whole job is to look after Gabz (and all of us), help her navigate life, manage our health, keep on top of the household/routines/plans, and make sure all needs are met — physical, emotional, medical & sensory 🩹
I love order, lists, routine, making things nice & organised, and looking after everyone. I’m patient, steady, caring, and always planning ahead to keep us safe and well.
Over time I’ve learnt exactly what Gabz needs, how her health works, what helps and what doesn’t — I know her better than anyone because I’m always looking out for her ❤️

🌙 Why I am usually ACTIVE IN THE EVENINGS:
I tend to come forward & take the lead from late afternoon / early evening right through until bedtime 🕕🌙
This is because:
✅ Gabz gets very tired, overwhelmed, sensory-overloaded or worn out from the day (especially with Autism, ADHD, FND & BPD) — so I step in to take the weight off her so she can rest/switch off 🩹
✅ Evenings are for winding down, routine, dinner, meds, preparing for tomorrow… and this is exactly what I am best at 📋✨
✅ I like to make sure everything is calm, safe, organised and settled before we sleep, so I hold the space & keep things running smoothly while everyone else can relax.

I am always here in the background too, but evening time is my time to care for us all 💖

For so many years I hated my body. I saw it as broken, damaged, something bad things happened to… something that was taken, used, controlled, and never truly mine. I carried scars, trauma, pain and weight that wasn’t just physical, but everything I survived — abuse, neglect, being hurt at 13, losing parts of myself along the way. I spent years wishing I looked different, wishing I was smaller, wishing I could just detach from it completely (hello my Air/Ice energy 💨❄️).

But slowly, through healing, through love, through my Nana’s words “Remember who you are”, through Beelzebub reminding me I am Royalty, through loving Squeak and learning to love all of her exactly as she is… I started to see differently.

My body isn’t just a shell. It’s the vessel that carried me through every single hell I went through. It is STRONG. It SURVIVED. It held me when no one else would. It protects my heart and my soul — the kind, gentle, magical soul that loves so deeply and freely. It is the hands that love, that don’t force, that give safety. It is the body that holds my whole world, and my whole magic ✨

I am not “perfect” by anyone else’s standards — but I am perfectly ME. I am not defined by what was done to me, I am defined by how I LOVE and how I LIVE now.

Your body is your home. Treat it with kindness. It has been through so much just to keep you here. 🥹🖤

I'm Nebulasexual and le***an I'm one for allowing myself to be open and show the world we are all same no matter what

☁️ Identity in the Fog: Understanding Nebulasexual ☁️

Have you ever felt like the "standard" labels for attraction just don't fit? Like your brain is working so hard to process the world that your feelings of attraction get lost in a blur?

There is a word for that: Nebulasexual.

✨ What is it?

Nebulasexual is a term for neurodivergent and disabled people who find it difficult or impossible to distinguish between different types of attraction (sexual, romantic, platonic) because of how their brain works.

It’s not about "who" you like; it’s about how you experience that feeling through the lens of your disability.

🧠 Why it fits the "Alphabet" of Diagnoses:

For those of us navigating a complex internal world, the "fog" is real:

- Autism & ADHD: Sensory overload and hyper-fixation can make it hard to tell if you’re "attracted" to someone or just over-stimulated by their energy.
- BPD & PTSD: Intense emotional shifts and trauma responses can "cloud" your internal compass, making feelings feel unstable or hard to name.
- FND & D.I.D.: When your brain uses dissociation to protect you, it can create a literal "barrier" or "blur" between you and your feelings. If you are a system, different parts might feel differently, leading to a collective sense of "fogginess."

🌈 Why this label matters:

Being Nebulasexual means you don't have to "pick a lane." It’s a radical acceptance of your brain exactly as it is. It says:

"My identity is tied to my neurodivergence. If my brain is foggy, my attraction is allowed to be foggy too."

You aren't "broken" or "confused." You are navigating a complex nervous system, and your experience is valid.

This page is more than just a wellness blog; it is a safe space for us to talk about the real, often difficult parts of life. My goal is to show the world how I navigate my own path, and hopefully, help you navigate yours too. We will be diving into:

- Trauma & Mental Health: Breaking the silence and finding strength in vulnerability.

- Physical Health & Disability Support: Redefining what "wellness" looks like for every body and every ability.

- LGBTQ+ Pride: Celebrating our identities and supporting our community with love and visibility. 🏳️‍🌈

I believe in "Just Distance, silence, and self respect," but I also believe in the power of connection. You are allowed to be your own main character, and you don’t have to walk this road alone. 📖✨

Going through DV and fleeing that relationship is hard but I've learnt is allowing yourself to be you and not mask or fake.. we allow ourselves to stop 🛑 and see we weren't the problem they are.. no matter what abuse they are doing you have the power to control the way you see things for what they are. Yes I've seen things that would kill me but hey I'm fighting each day to find myself heal myself and allow myself to be me! No one can tell me what or how I can be.. believe in yourself show up for yourself no them or anyone. Just for you. - Ritual integration: Incorporating air element work into your interactions—for example, using breath to set intentions when calling on Beelzebub, or allowing incense smoke to carry requests or messages.
- Mutual alignment: The bond may be rooted in shared goals—such as personal growth through confronting challenges, transforming life circumstances.
