Safety will always come before treatment.

This patient came to me this week to have filler dissolved. They'd previously had filler dissolved elsewhere, experienced swelling afterwards, and had never been patch tested.

Before I use hyaluronidase, I always perform a patch test. This was the result.

Because of this reaction, we did not go ahead with the treatment.

Yes, it meant I lost the cost of the product and the appointment time. But that's insignificant compared to the importance of keeping my patients safe.

Sometimes the safest treatment is knowing when not to treat. Your safety will always come first. 🧡

Medicine taught me to observe people. Aesthetics taught me to truly see faces.

Before and during every treatment, I pause and look. Not because I’m judging, but because I’m studying the details…the subtle asymmetries, the unique contours and shadows, the expressions that make every face individual.
