📍 Today we continued a busy week of training, delivering CPR Awareness sessions in Birmingham on behalf of Elite Force Safety as part of Voestalpine Metsec Plc’s Health & Safety Week.

Across four sessions, we had the opportunity to train staff from a wide range of departments, including administration, management, engineering teams, and the company’s newest apprentices. It was fantastic to see such strong engagement from everyone involved, demonstrating a real commitment to workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

The sessions focused on recognising cardiac arrest, calling for help, performing effective CPR, and understanding the role of an AED in improving survival outcomes. By equipping more people with these essential lifesaving skills, organisations can help create safer workplaces and communities.

A big thank you to Voestalpine Metsec Plc for investing in their workforce through Health & Safety Week, and to Elite Force Safety for the opportunity to support the delivery of this important training.

📍 This week has already been a busy one with more to come. So far we’ve been in Central London delivering CPR & AED Awareness training on behalf of Elite Force Safety, to the staff of Brookfield Properties’ as part of their Health & Safety training month.

Throughout the month, Brookfield employees are taking part in a range of training sessions designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing, including CPR & AED Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, and Stress Awareness training.

It’s been fantastic to see such positive engagement from learners who are developing the confidence and knowledge to respond effectively in an emergency. From recognising cardiac arrest and performing CPR to understanding how an AED can be used to save a life, these are skills that can make a real difference when every second counts.

We’re proud to be supporting Elite Force Safety, and Brookfield Properties in delivering this important programme and helping to promote a safer, healthier workplace for Brookfield staff.

🎉 Another course complete! 🎉

Today we completed the FAA Level 3 First Aid at Work course at the University of Oxford.

Over the past three days, we have had the privilege of delivering training to members of the Facilities Management, Front of House, and Administrative teams. Throughout the course, learners have developed their theoretical understanding of first aid before applying their knowledge through practical skills sessions and realistic emergency scenarios.

The programme covered a wide range of essential first aid topics, including CPR and AED use, the management of medical emergencies, trauma care, and responding effectively to incidents that may occur in the workplace.

It has been rewarding to see learners grow in confidence and competence over the duration of the course. Thank you to everyone for their enthusiasm, participation, and commitment to learning these vital life-saving skills. Congratulations to all those who successfully completed the course.

Monday this Week saw us at the Gatehouse in Oxford delivering an FAA Level 3 Emergency First Aid at work course to their staff and volunteers. We had a full course will all 12 learners successfully passing the course.

The Gatehouse do amazing work supporting Oxford’s homeless community since 1988. They offer a wide range of free services and activities to adults who are homeless, vulnerably housed, and on low or no income. It was a pleasure to be able to equip their staff and volunteers with the theory and practical training which was tailored to their service users and empower them to use the skills in a First Aid Emergency.
