Well well 2023…
You have been my best kneady giving year yet!

I have enjoyed every minute of massaging every client I’ve had on my table and appreciate EVERYTHING I have made from this super special business I’ve created….

We may have forgot our red, white and blue themed clothing and the sun was definitely not shining as we stomped through massive puddles while getting soaked leaving Edies discharge appointment at Harlow hospital 🙌🏻 but we made it to Five Guys where at least I feel a tiny bit of America in England with photos of Obama on the wall and Rolling Stone articles framed and a fountain drinking machine. The whole vibe is America. We miss you today but seeeeee you soooooon ❤️🤍💙 🇺🇸

Just another day that these two reminded me that I’m set for life. ❤️

I’ve been reflecting a lot this week on being a mom and watching other moms mom with an exaggerated awe.
I love watching mothers and their children react towards each other. Just this week I’ve seen some really sweet exchanges of the two. One being a child playing with a camera and the mother bending down to snap a selfie with him. The smiles, the laugh. I know this feeling and it’s the best in the world…
I can only speak from personal experience but I’d love to share how Motherhood has changed me. I’ve always said that my children came here to teach me rather than me teach them. Being a mom has helped me heal, helped me feel, helped me truly love myself. It didn’t happen early days, I was still trying to prove to much about how great of a mother I was going to be. Iwasconstantly competing with ways other mothers mothered and judging either them or myself. I had expectations of the kids that they were obviously not going to meet because they were children as opposed to robots. I put everything into caring for them while neglecting caring for myself.
Through my self discovery journey (thank god!) I learned a better way. I learned how to surrender and how to trust, trust myself. I learned compassion and forgiveness, forgiving myself. I learned through guidance and honesty and empathy that I have a better connection with my children.
I learned that I also need nurturing for myself to continue to butter this relationship.
I no longer felt guilty about taking care of myself first so I could take care of my children better.
Like I said, I’ve learnt the greatest things I feel to this day from being a mom. So grateful these two found a way to me and I’ve been able to see everything differently.
I will forever be grateful for this experience with them.
So in return, I’m reaching out to all you Mamas. Who feel exhausted, under appreciated, overwhelmed, lost. Who feel guilt and frustration on a regular basis.

Welcome to my space.
It’s extremely warm, in heat and energy.
The smells welcome you as you open the door and come in, you can feel yourself immediately relaxed and ready to melt.
The energy, a warm red, here to ground you. Red is the colour of our root chakra which is our centre, when it’s off or blocked we can feel off balanced, irritated, angry, insecure and unsafe. When given attention we can find a way of grounding ourselves again, all this can happen here.

Another year seems to always come with so many pressures to feel better, get better, do better, but what if the new year just meant another year of being you with more love and acceptance of who you are. What if instead of wanting better, just finding a new way to love and accept more of yourself.
You can only accept the love you think you deserve and you are more than worthy of love.

Start to notice how much love you give yourself and when it’s available give some love away. 💖
