A great day at The Royal Agricultural university for British & Irish Veterinary Technicians Association - BIVTA yesterday representing Ceva’s Pig and Ruminant teams alongside my colleague Katie Walters. Katie delivered a fantastic presentation exploring pain impact on farm animals. There were also other valuable talks expanding opportunities within the role for on‑farm support. It was a really good day of networking and speaking with Veterinary Technicians and ATT's, which is such a valuable role within practice. Ceva has proudly been the principal sponsor of the YNPA Regionals throughout February and March 2026 — three regions, three brilliant groups, and one shared goal: inspiring the next generation of our industry.

This year’s theme focused on inspiring and developing the next generation of the pig industry.

Junior Product Manager Natasha Willows was invited to speak about her non‑linear journey from small animal vet nurse into the sector, demonstrating that there is no single path into the pig industry. She also highlighted how Ceva is supporting organisations that bring new people into the sector, along with their new education portal, Ceva Academy, designed to provide accessible learning and development opportunities within the pig industry.
