A visit to Glastonbury wouldn't be complete without a trip to the Chalice Well Gardens for me. The healing, the peace and tranquility I feel there is always beyond measure.
All About Love organised an incredible event at St John's Church in the High Street. Seeing the wonderful Susie Ro and Ayla Schafer play, in such a beautiful setting as part of the Three Feathers was such a treat for the soul.
Meeting Lama Geshe Tulku Ahbay Rinpoche, a kind and compassionate soul with a smile that lights up a room, and volunteering for his charity fundraising project was very humbling. The Rinpoche is a truly nspirational Divine soul, who has devoted his life to serving humanity through teachings, meditations and community work, and helping to spread messages of happiness, mental wellbeing & peace round the world. He gives so much to others and the world needs more humanitarians like Ahbay Rinpoche.
A midnight pizza as we had barely eaten all day followed by 3 hours of loud car karaoke and hunting down an ever elusive coffee, at service station after service station (because they were all closed) so we could stay awake for the journey back to Buckinghamshire completed our Avalon trip.
I never tire of seeing a hummingbird hawk moth, pictured here at the wonderful Oxmoor Farm cafe restaurant Sunday on their beautiful swathes of verbena bonariensis, with friends.
Attending a pot luck dinner, at a friend's house, she put on to raise money for a farmed animal sanctuary, which was filled with laughter and joy and silly shenanigans was the icing on the cake.
Still feeling the gratitude for such a wonderfully wholesome and heart- filling weekend.
