Would you like to make a positive difference in your local community?

We are looking for volunteers to support patients with getting started on the NHS App through one-to-one sessions at the surgery.

As a volunteer, you could help by: ✅ Supporting patients individually ✅ Building confidence in using technology ✅ Improving access to NHS services ✅ Making a real difference in your community

The NHS App allows patients to: 📅 Book appointments 💊 Order repeat prescriptions 📋 View health records 💬 Message their GP surgery ...and much more!

If you have a little time to spare and would like to help our patients become more confident using digital healthcare services, we would love to hear from you.

We would be very grateful to anyone that is able to complete the survey in relation to NHS Health checks.

Our national colleagues in NHSE and DHSC are keen to run a short survey to learn what people think about the NHS Health Check programme. This survey is attempting to seek the opinions of the general public who may or may not have used the programme, or be aware of the programme, and will help us understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how the programme can better reach and support people in staying healthy.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete, is anonymous and open to everyone

☀️ YELLOW HEAT HEALTH ALERT: Stay Safe in the Heat! ☀️

A Yellow Heat Health Alert is in effect across the East Midlands from 12pm on Thursday 18 June 2026 until 8pm on Tuesday 23 June 2026.
High temperatures can put everyone at risk, especially older people, young children, and those with health conditions.

Take action to protect yourself and others:

✅ Stay in the shade during peak hours
✅ Check in on vulnerable neighbours and family

You can now use automated options to have simple queries answered and actioned quickly and easily. To help save time, please have your NHS number ready when you call.
