Activities like this are so important for people living with dementia encouraging movement, boosting mood, supporting coordination, and bringing back happy memories through music and familiar songs.💛

Our therapy dogs brought so many smiles, calm moments, and meaningful connections to everyone at the day centre today!✨

For people living with dementia, animal therapy can help reduce anxiety, encourage communication, spark memories, and provide comfort through companionship and touch. Even the smallest interaction a cuddle, a stroke, or a wagging tail can make a huge difference to someone’s wellbeing!🐶

Thank you to our wonderful therapy dogs and handlers for bringing so much joy into our centre today❤️
