🚗 Our busiest day ever for Community Transport! 🚗

Today our Community Transport Scheme had its busiest day since it began, with 11 people transported across the community.

💙 7 people were taken for vaccinations
💙 1 person travelled to Inverness for a medical appointment
💙 3 people were brought along to Cinema Club

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteer drivers who make this service possible. Today was so busy that Jo and Rachel had to jump in and do a couple of journeys too!

Community Transport helps local people get to important appointments, activities and social opportunities when they might otherwise struggle to get there.

We're currently looking for more volunteer drivers to join our friendly team. If you'd like to make a real difference in your community and can spare a little time, we'd love to hear from you.

✨National Volunteer Week 1st-7th June✨

This Volunteers' Week, we want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to every single person who has volunteered with us over the years.

From our dedicated trustees, volunteer drivers, gardeners, event & larder helpers, to those who have given up just an hour here and there to lend a hand, you all play a part in making what we do possible.

Thank you for every lift, every cuppa served, every flower planted, every table moved, every event supported, and every act of kindness along the way.

Quite simply, we couldn't do what we do without you.

Whether you volunteer with us now or have helped us in the past, please know how much we appreciate everything you've done. Here's to all our volunteers, past and present, you are absolute stars. ❤️

What a lovely event! 🌿💚

Lots of plants found new homes at our Seed & Plant Swap today. Thank you to everyone who came along and to those who popped money in the pot, together we raised £28.87 for The Hub.
We’ll likely hold another seed & plant swap later in the growing season... I know I (Jo) will definitely have plenty more to share! 🌱
