Piercing is a sacred tradition, something from a different time and a primitive art form, That has evolved, changed and molded itself to fit with todays traditions, society & professions.
With that comes.. unfortunately, a quick grab mindset that this.. 'is just a cool job' or something you can just 'jump' into and quickly learn. It is not that. It is. So much more.
Facilitating people and their needs, helping calm and comfort clients, guiding people through their first experience with not only service provided. But compassion & empathy to the situation, combined with education.
Knowing the history, the dynamics, the cultural and ritualistic routes where body piercing has come from. Also knowing how to safely integrate this into a single appointment or experience & knowing where all this stands in modern western society.
For us. This was never 'just a job' or something quick to 'try out'
For us. This is our whole life. Body piercings & welded jewellery
