💙 I had the pleasure yesterday of joining the Ability Case Management CPD session, where I delivered training on trauma informed practice.
Many thanks for the invitation Dave Lowe lovely to meet your knowledgeable & welcoming team, who shared their extensive experience of supporting clients & their families following traumatic events. We reflected on the far-reaching impacts of psychological trauma for our clients & their families – not least the events surrounding their neurological injury/diagnosis, but also trauma related to their acute/post-acute care, & the possible psychological impacts of any litigation process. Your service already integrates many aspects of trauma-informed practice – your regular CPD sessions & reflective practice to name a few.
