It has been a while since I have shared about the practice and updated my working blurb... so here is an updated one.
As an Ecotherapist, I provide trauma-informed, neuro-affirming ecotherapy for children, young people and adults. Nature offers a gentle space where there is no pressure to explain, perform or mask, only an opportunity to slow down, feel safe and reconnect with yourself.
Many of the people I support are living with the effects of trauma, anxiety, ADHD, autism, OCD, burnout or emotional overwhelm. Through a compassionate blend of therapeutic support and connection with the natural world, sessions help regulate the nervous system, build a sense of safety and create space for healing. Whether through walking, mindful connection with nature, creative activities, sensory exploration or simply being present outdoors, each session is tailored to the individual and honours their unique way of experiencing the world.
Healing is not about fixing who you are. It is about gently uncovering the parts of yourself that have always been there beneath survival, creating opportunities to rediscover trust, self-compassion, resilience and a deeper connection with both yourself and the natural world.
