✨ Why I Work With the Chakras During Healing ✨

You may have seen me talk about the chakras in my healing sessions, but what exactly are they and why do I work with them?

The chakras are traditionally understood within spiritual and energy-healing practices as energy centres within the body, each associated with different aspects of our emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

During Reiki and Starseed Healing, I often tune into the different chakra areas and notice where energy feels flowing, heavy, blocked, unsettled or simply in need of some gentle attention. 💫

For me, working with the chakras is about creating a space to pause, reflect and reconnect with yourself.

Sometimes we simply need a little space to stop, breathe and listen to what we need.

And that's one of the reasons I love working with the chakras. 💜✨

Our animals are such a huge part of our lives. They give us unconditional love, comfort and companionship — so why not give them some time to simply relax and receive? ❤️

At Universal Light Therapies, I offer 60-minute distant Reiki healing sessions for your pets, allowing them to receive their session from the comfort of their own familiar surroundings.

Every animal is unique, and they can respond to Reiki in their own individual way. Some may become sleepy and deeply relaxed, while others may simply carry on resting or behaving normally.

💫 60-MINUTE DISTANT ANIMAL REIKI — £15 PER PET

There is no need to travel anywhere. Your pet can stay in their own familiar environment while I carry out the distant healing.

After every session, you will receive a written personalised report with my observations from the session, along with self-care suggestions to support your pet afterwards. 🐾❤️

Everyone experiences a session differently. You might feel warmth, tingling, heaviness, lightness, see colours or images, become emotional, drift into a deeply relaxed state — or you may simply feel calm and peaceful.

There is no right or wrong experience. ❤️

You don't have to be physically present for Reiki. I also offer distant Reiki sessions, allowing you to receive the session from the comfort of your own home.

And every Reiki session includes a written personalised report afterwards, including observations from your session and self-care suggestions to support you after your treatment. 🌿

You don't need any previous experience with Reiki. You don't need to “do” anything.

✨ The joys of trying to be a spiritual mum... ✨

I go away with dreams of meditation, grounding, connecting with nature and soaking up the beautiful Yorkshire Moors...

Reality? 😂

🌿 "Mum, I need a poo!"
📸 "Take a picture of MEEEEE!"
🛁 Finally sneak into the hot tub... two minutes later... splash! "I'm joining you!"

And honestly... I wouldn't have it any other way. 💙

Motherhood has taught me that spirituality isn't about waiting for perfect peace and quiet. Sometimes it's found in the chaos, the giggles, the interruptions and the little hands that constantly remind us to stay present.
