This Learning Disability Week, we’re supporting this year’s theme: Did you see me?”.

The week is an opportunity to raise awareness of learning disabilities and highlight the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities for all.

People with learning disabilities should be able to access the same health, social, and community services, with the right support in place to help them thrive.

Let’s continue working together to build more inclusive and supportive communities.

This year's National Carers Week is all about building carer friendly communities. We’ll be highlighting the impact carer friendly communities can have in making a real and lasting difference to the lives of carers everywhere.

Carer friendly communities are places, spaces, services and community groups where unpaid carers are recognised, understood, and valued. They make support part of everyday life ensuring carers get the opportunities and help they need.

Together we’re building carer friendly communities that support carers in every area of their lives.

💜 Have you received your invitation for a cervical screening (smear test)?

Cervical screening is one of the best ways to help prevent cervical cancer by detecting changes before they become serious. The test is quick, carried out by a trained healthcare professional, and could help save lives.

Smear test appointments are available at the Hub for eligible patients.

If are a resident in the London Borough of Richmond and received your invitation, don't delay book with your GP practice today!

Early detection matters. Screening saves lives.

Cervical screening can determine whether you have human papillomavirus (HPV) and changes in your cells that could go on to develop into cancer if left untreated. If you are aged between 25 and 64 it's important to book and attend for screening when invited.

If at any time you feel something isn't right, don’t wait, contact your GP.

Visit www.pha.site/cervicalscreening for more info.
