As it’s been ages since I last updated this page, I thought I should say hello and reintroduce myself!
I’m Julie and I’m a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner. This means that I follow the traditional methods introduced by Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki.
Reiki practitioners are not all the same, and we all tend to have our own ways of performing a healing. I follow an intuitive practice which is initially client led; as I work I focus on the areas which the client has suggested, but often intuition guides me to focus on other areas. The importance of these is usually revealed after the treatment. I work ‘hands off’, hovering my hands above the client who is fully clothed throughout the session. I only touch the client to link in at the start, and to ground them at the end, and always warn them where I will be touching them.
Bookings for all sessions can be made online. These are prepaid, but transferable to a rescheduled appointment or refundable with more than 24 hours notice. Check my website for more details!
