Maybe anxiety isn’t the problem.
Maybe it’s the warning sign.
Humans were not built
for this level of speed, noise and overstimulation.
Not built to consume constant negativity.
Not built to compare ourselves to strangers all day.
Not built to overthink every interaction,
every mistake, every possible future.
Our nervous systems were never designed
to live in a constant state of alert.
Yet we scroll faster, work faster, think faster,
until rest feels uncomfortable
and silence feels wrong.
Then we call the body the problem
when it finally reacts.
Anxiety is often the nervous system saying:
this is too much.
Slow down.
Something needs to change.
